While my stay was a pleasant change from my grieving over my partner's death the television system in the room was pretty dreadful. Every channel froze and wouldn't move forward to complete a program. My three breakfasts were excellent and inexpensive, my one dinner was a mixed experiience with the main course delicious and the soup an item I could have missed, The room and bed were comfortable but the door was so heavy that I needed to lean on it, going out and coming in.

Really love the design of the property and the staff was friendly and helpful. Don’t like true business model of no staff on site to assist with check in—nothing like someone on the property at all times when/if things come up. Love the Le Labo products. Exceptionally clean. Having said that, probably won’t stay there again (in winter) as the heating unit is not only loud, it was so arid in the room we had to shut it off to be able to sleep. Next morning, we ran hot shower to get some humidity into the air. For this reason alone, we will be selecting another property in the area for accommodation.

I like the ribeye steak, the green salad, affogato. Our dining experience was excellent. A bit expensive food but it is worth it. In our next trip we will book again. Staff were accommodating and hospitable and friendly. I will recommend this to my friend.

Decided a few hours before leaving to book an extended weekend out of NYC and so happy we did! With little to no research done ahead of the stay, we exclusively booked the hotel from a random picture we stumbled upon of the lobby. It had reminded us of a cabin we stayed at in the Catskills and just went with it! 4 days and 3 nights later we had no regrets! The front desk staff were warm and extremely welcoming, including the amazing General Manager, Alex. Due to the spontaneity of our trip, he took time to let us know what the area had to offer and even suggested the best restaurants for our pescetarian needs. The lobby was nice, clean and the ambiance really set the mood. We immediately went to the bar and ordered lunch :mushroom ravioli, butternut squash and apple soup and the best kale salad. Chefs kiss -- I truly need that mushroom ravioli recipe. The bartender was very kind and attentive. We had a room located on the 2nd floor with a king bed. We loved that the TV had streaming apps, the mini fridge was stocked and snacks were available in the room. We could tell the property had been recently renovated and loved that it came with plush robes and umbrellas if you needed for the weather. The shower water was extremely HOT like I like it (LOL) and the thermostat regulated the temperature perfectly. I just wished that it was not so loud but we did not spend much time in the room so it was okay. Thank you Life House for a great stay. Hoping to visit in the future

My wife and I decided to do my birthday weekend here and absolutely loved the experience! Rooms are so nice: linens are the best, robes are luxurious, bathroom and products are all top notch. Had a few drinks at the bar and they were all phenomenal. Great place to take photos too as the decor in the lounge is really impressive. Already planning a return trip!
