A lovely hotel. We arrived to a very warm and friendly welcome from the owners. The hotel is perfectly placed with restaurants and shops just a few minutes away on foot. Our bedroom was lovely and breakfast delicious! We highly recommend staying here.

Très agréable séjour dans cet hôtel familial, au calme, avec une belle pelouse pour se reposer au retour de rando. Chambres confortables. Petit déjeuner : il y en a pour tous les goûts. Repas du soir : cuisine simple et raffinée. Un grand salon pour les réunions de groupe. La propriétaire de l'hôtel est très attentive au bien-être de ses clients. Très apprécié l'énorme tisanière qui dispense ses bienfaits à volonté tout au long de la journée.

We stayed here as we were hiking the TMB, and it was incredibly comfortable, quiet, and so perfectly located! The dinner was one of the best we had the entire time we were on the trail, and the breakfast was also outstanding. I would certainly stay here again!

Super accueil, très bon confort et bien situé proche du centre du village et des activités . Jardin agréable avec un petit bar extérieur très sympathique…. Les conseils de promenades sont très utiles et on a hâte d’y revenir peut être pour la saison hivernale.

We visited Gai Soleil again this year as we so LOVED it when we did the TMB 5 years ago. It is the perfect little hotel to stay in this beautiful town in a gorgeous part of the Alps, The service is great The beds are very comfortable The garden is a great place to wind down with a great view of the mountains with a drink in your hand. I cannot recommend it enough only disappointment is we did not stay longer!

We absolutely loved our time at Chalet Hotel Gai Soleil and didn't want to leave. Rooms were very comfortable and host Valerie is friendly, accommodating and all around wonderful. Definitely recommend getting a drink from their garden bar and soaking up the sun in the comfortable lounge chairs. We look forward to visiting again!

Geared to hikers and skiers. An attractive place to stay with a truly lovely garden and garden bar with very fairly priced drinks and priceless views. Rooms a bit small but fine for a night. Staff local and very friendly and helpful although they can be rushed off their feet at busy times like anywhere. Easy walk into town.

A charming hotel in a spectacular setting. I would highly recommend. Staff is kind and the food delicious! The garden is lovely and they have a large comfortable lounge as well. The breakfast buffet was the best we have had on our trip. It was a great place!
