Very Far to the Airport of Fort De France and they don’t have Service very bad, scary and I got trouble to go back to Airport because they lied to me to book the Taxi

Cet hôtel est à l'image des Antilles françaises : sympa mais plus du tout à la page. Ancien Sofitel, le Bakoua est devenu un MGallery (Accor) mais pour avoir beaucoup voyagé et résidé dans les hôtels du groupe Accor (dont MGallery), il faut avouer qu'il s'agit d'un des plus mauvais qui soit ! Cet hôtel est indigne des prix pratiqués (compter 400/500€ la nuit en pleine saison). Les chambres sont vieillottes et très mal entretenues (rouille...). Personnel plutôt agréable. Le lieu offre une belle vue sur Fort de France, la plage et la mer est jolie mais c'est encore une fois...trop cher payé pour les prestations reçues. Avis à tous les voyageurs en quête de belles plages, de beaux hôtels avec de belles chambres et des tarifs honnêtes...fuyez ! Préférez la République Dominicaine ou les Bahamas. Dommage pour nos amis Antillais mais le client est roi ! De vastes rénovations et une révision des prix seraient plus que les bienvenues !

RUDE STAFF, BEYOND RUDE. If you are not fluent in french, all staff members will pretend not to understand you. This place had broken beds and rooms in a BEYOND aweful state. I should have trusted the reviews and saved my money. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY that was spent on this hotel.

Too expensive for what it is. The rooms are just horrible, dirty... the bathroom let's not talk about it.
There is no free shuttle!! We had to pay our 65th taxi from the airport.
The staff, on the other hand, are very friendly.

Very well located hotel, but in need of a big, huge renovation on all levels. Old-fashioned rooms and bathrooms, equipment at the (private) beach broken, damaged, in short, all of that has gone bad... The Bakoua is clearly living on its laurels of yesteryear and not convinced that the 4 stars are still justified.
