A great country inn, the room is very cozy, the dinner and breakfast are very good, the staff are very enthusiastic, the chef's skills are very good, there are many guests who come to eat, and you can get close to the locals and local dogs. In addition to delicious meals, there are four hiking routes that can be played during the day, so you can experience the British countryside

We have lived in the area for over 10 years and although we eat out often most of the other venues we visit are only "acceptable". Only one other comes close. The Greyhound however is a cut above the rest. This was a family meal, a birthday celebration and could not be faulted in any way. Resturant 10/10 Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Price 10/10 Ambience 10/10

A lovely location. Good menu although some of the dishes were unavailable therefore limiting the choice. Breakfast disappointing.

The Greyhound was one of our stops overnight while doing the Ridgeway walk with a couple of old friends. Very comfortable and very friendly with excellent service. Good beer and also good food. Very quick with our breakfast which was great as we needed to make an early start. Lovely pub.

This is a gem of a place with really delicious food in a great setting. My second time here as extended family live nearby. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else now. My room was smallish and very hot but then it was the 36 degree heatwave. Staff very professional and welcoming too. A classy place. Thoroughly recommend.

After a brilliant Race Day Experience at Williams F1, my son and I rested at and greatly enjoyed the hospitality and comfort of The Greyhound Inn. Next we're due a trip down this way, we will be sure to book again. Faultless from start to finish. No hesitation in recommending this hostelry.

The room was excellent, and so were all the staff. They seemed to be really happy to be working there - and that is rare! The manager, James is a star. Breakfast could use a little improvement.

Sitting in the middle of a pretty village surrounded by glorious English countryside views! This Inn has all the comforts you require. The staff are wonderful, very helpful, friendly, and attentive. The food, both breakfast and evening, was delicious, well presented, and full of flavour. My room was big, quirky, well appointed, and comfy with the large fan just about keeping me cool during the recent unprecedented heat wave.

Efficient and friendly welcome; beautifully appointed room with the option of fresh milk for morning tea (big plus for me). Super comfy bed - slept like a content baby. The food was excellent, and they are great for those who are gluten free - which was a massive bonus. Breakfast was beautifully laid out with cereals, cheese ham and yoghurts, plus a cooked breakfast. I had a wonderful GF eggs Benedict on a really good GF bun, not just on a slice of Genius, which many other places do. Amazing for a pub in a small village. Everything is thought about - dog biscuits and water for furry friends, a newspaper in the morning. Super relaxing stay, with fab food, and great walks with wonderful views. Can’t wait to go back.
