My partner and I had a lovely stay at Aysgarth Falls. It is located in a beautiful spot with lovely views over the moors. Our room was very spacious with a huge bed! Lovely bathroom with lots of toiletries and plenty of hot water. The hotel was clean and quiet with attentive, friendly staff. It was lovely to be able to make tea and coffee with nice biscuits provided. We ate in the bar and restaurant, both were fine with delicious menus.

Great hotel!! Stayed in the Askrigg Room which was really lovely, overlooking a great view & beer garden. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Booked dinner in the restaurant - had starters & mains which were delicious! Breakfast was also very nice! In fact my husband said the full English was possibly the best he'd ever had! All in all a great experience ☺️ We will be back!

A very comfortable room and excellent friendly staff. We had a good choice of meals in the evening prepared to a high standard. It was worth the occasional wait for courses that had clearly been freshly prepared. We can’t wait to visit again.

The hotel was extremely comfortable and the staff and food were excellent . The Sunday roast was the best I had ever had and the steak , mushroom and Guinness pie divine. We would highly recommend visiting Aysgarth Falls a short but steep walk downhill they were very picturesque. We will definitely return to stay when visiting the Yorkshire Dales again .

My husband and I had a really lovely overnight stay here, in nice location and in a hotel that is decorated to a very high standard throughout. Moreover the food was really tasty and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay again!

The hotel is comfortable and the staff very helpful & committed. However one area of concern is the food. We ordered a vegetarian option pie. When eating it, we were concerned that is was meat or could be quorn. We asked the staff who assured us the pie was vegan. I asked waiting staff to ask the chef. The manager came to see us & told us the chef didn't know the content of the pie, but another off duty chef may know. The manager said he would contact the off duty chef and we'd have an answer before we checked out in the morning. The response we got was the head office would make contact. I would advise people to be careful when eating in the restaurant, if they have any food allergies. No one to date as made contact. With the recent publicity around food allergies, its very concerning that the manager or chef didn't know the content of the food they serve.

The hotel is beautiful and well run. We were greeted warmly and shown to our room, which was comfortable, quiet, and spacious. It's not fancy, but still conveys a feeling of luxury and comfort. If you have an option to, ask for one of the higher floors - they seem a shade nicer than the ones lower down, although everything was very pleasant.

Stayed 2 nights in the wonderful Aysgarth room which was perfect for our stay. Huge bed and great facilities (giant bath and bed, underfloor heating). Ate twice, bar and restaurant, and got the perfectly cooked rare steak that I had requested! Staff were friendly and professional. Would have no hesitation in staying again

We stopped in one of the cottage rooms and it was beautiful. The service was amazing from the staff. Especially our waiter Sam, who was very professional and friendly and Jake the manager who was also friendly and professional. Both made our stay very enjoyable and we will definitely re-book. We previously had visited for Sunday lunch and met Francis, the other manager and because of his friendly manner we booked for 2 nights.
