Maison rénovée et décorée avec goût. Nos hôtes, Corine et Laurent, sont tout à fait exceptionnels et très attentionnés pour faire que notre séjour soit parfait. Ils nous invitent dans leur chez soi avec une entière liberté. On s’y sent comme « à la maison ». La cour extérieure est invitante à la détente. Je vous recommande cette adresse, si vous aimez le contact humain plutôt que l’indifférence des hôtels.

Arriver à la maison Mulato c’est comme d’arriver en famille : Corine et Laurent sont aux petits soins et tout est parfait: magnifique maison, magnifique jardin, incroyable petit déjeuner ! Nous étions dans la maison Jasmin qui est d’un confort parfait ! Nous en sommes partis avec la certitude d’y revenir et de pouvoir continuer les conversations en cours. A bientôt !

Our group of 8 (four couples) stayed in La Maison for 3 nights in July to celebrate a 60th birthday among the group. Firstly the setting - the house and grounds are just amazing, traditional in its layout and materials with exceptional quality and style of furnishings (you can tell Corinne is an interior designer!). The breakfast was fantastic, homemade by the hosts with lots of savoury and sweet French delicacies which filled us up for most of the day. However what made the birthday trip special was the pre-planning and communication with the host Laurent prior to our arrival - he helped with recommending restaurants, vineyards, spa and masseuse booking and every single aspect of our trip. All of this detail and responsiveness made our break in Libourne special in every way possible! I would say La Maison Mulato is a great base to explore the beautiful area or it can be tailored with the hosts to make a very special trip as we did. My sincere thanks to the super-friendly and accommodating hosts Laurent, Corinne and Laura for helping make us long lasting memories of our birthday trip to Bordeaux…

Cet endroit, en plein centre de Libourne est un enchantement de charme et de plaisirs ! Le couple vous accueille dans cette magnifique maison d’hôtes comme rarement nous avons été accueillis. Dès l’entrée vous êtes charmé par l’odeur des parfums de maison fabriqués par Corinne. La maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût, des objets chinés avec passion. Le spa est divin, grande propreté partout. La literie excellente, très jolie salle de bain, tout le linge de maison est beau, le choix des couleurs. C’est calme. Et je vous recommande l’omelette du petit déjeuner qui est excellente !!! Et d’acheter le parfum d’intérieur ! Merci à vous pour cet accueil !

Corine and Laurent’s attention to detail, care and impeccable design skills are shown in every aspect of the maison, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the personal touch they both added to everything. From the conversation over the delicious breakfast to the helpful recommendations, they both made us feel like we were more than just guests. It's clear that they have a passion for hospitality and creating meaningful connections with their visitors, and we feel fortunate to have experienced it firsthand. We couldn’t be happier to have found this beautiful place, but more so of leaving with two new friends. Thank you for opening your doors to us and for making our stay so special. Un petit coin de paradis au cœur de Libourne, où l’eau de la fontaine du jardin nous invite à profiter de la piscine en toute plénitude. Le confort des chambres et les petits déjeuners alléchants vous feront regretter de ne pas avoir pris une nuitée supplémentaire. Félicitations à Corine et Laurent pour la décoration de très bon goût de cette demeure. A découvrir absolument !!

Corinne and Laurent were fabulous hosts in their amazing home. Breakfast was the best meal of any day with home cooked delicious dishes. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the pools for relaxing. The house is grand and quirky and very comfortable. The ceilings are high and the rooms are large and airy. There is air con but mostly we didn’t need to use it despite the heat.

Un lieu intimiste et raffiné où l’extérieur vous enchante autant que l’intérieur vous ravit !! Lumineuse, chaleureuse et calme, la Villa Mulato est un véritable coup de cœur ! Une fabuleuse expérience grâce à Corine et Laurent , à l’accueil si bienveillant et aux petit-déjeuners copieux et juste excellents. A essayer absolument pour y revenir assurément !
