Choose to stay here because its a new 5stars hotel in the area. It is a really mixed feeling about this hotel. Let me list down the pros/cons. Pro: - right above lijiang ancient town - bed and duvet are super comfortable - they have bidet and heated floor!! 👍🏻 - room interior is beautiful and well equipped. So many free goodies. - the view from breakfast area is AMAZING. On good days You can see the mountain from there - their butler service is SUPER amazing! THANK U LI JIAHAO (and friends!!) for you excellent service during our stay. He is so fast, reliable and attentive. You all are the highlight of my stay in this hotel👍🏻 Cons: - its a physical challenge right from you get of your car. its above lijiang ancient town, so check in/out, go to ancient town or back to the hotel you have to climb/down stairsss. Travel with little kids or elderly? Avoid!! - unstable hot water for shower. The average weather was 1c during our stay, to shower with lukewarm water is a nightmare. - its a really small hotel more like guest house, and our room is near busy street that is very noisy! I can hear car honking even at midnight and as early at 6am😭. - breakfast is average - it was my birthday during my stay. The hotel did not give any attention at all, not even a birthday note, let alone a little cake. Our butler help my husband went buy cake late at night so I can have a little celebration 😅😅 - in my opinion it is more suitable to be called 4stars hotel. And price is too high I expect more benefits like any other 5stars hotels, yet other 5stars hotel price is 1/3 less (beside Amandayan obviously) compare to this hotel. Conclusion: I enjoyed my stay. But will not return here for my next trip.

The hotel, an ancient school with temple, has been expertly renovated (it won a design award in Milan) and every room has delightful details, the terrace with bells has an incredible view of the most important square of the old city is very relaxing.Our room had a view of the beautiful mountain at sunrise. The most beautiful thing about our stay, however, was the attention towards us from all the staff, the delicious breakfast and dinner were personalized according to our tastes and we recived all possible support continously. We participated to tea ceremonies, one of which was officiated by a "tea master" and also afternoon tea with pastries. It should be noted that everything was included in the cost of the room, together with a course to learn how to cook the typical flower sweets of Lijiang, as well other amenities. Special thanks to the entire butlers team with whom we were able to communicate via WeChat before and during the stay to organize transfers and trips and in particular to Miss Becky Wei who personally accompanied us by foot to see the famous garden outside the city and speaking English she provided us with many useful explanations about the tea ceremony. A special thanks also to the misses who offered us tea several times in the ceremony room, they were both patient and welcoming !

We booked two rooms for family . Two different style of room ,each room got very nice condition and everything is new . Nice view at 2nd floor and big room at level one room. We Must Thank to all the staffs who provide us good services and The handsome boy LiHui take care of us very well and very nice guy. We looking forward see again soon

A beautiful hotel in the ancient city. Airport pick-up is available. The staff will contact you in advance. The hotel is beautiful. The afternoon tea overlooking the city is beautiful and comfortable. I want to come back next time when I have time.

I picked this hotel blindly because it was opened less than a year ago. Everything was beyond my expectations, from the high-end hardware facilities in the hotel rooms to the warm service of the hotel housekeepers and employees at all times, the most comfortable afternoon tea and warm goodnight desserts, as well as the bedside table heat packs and hot compress eye masks... and many thoughtful little gifts. Everything was wonderful. I will come again next time!

The ceiling, software and hardware of the homestay are all very good. The geographical location is on the edge of the ancient city, quiet in the bustling city. In terms of price, compared with the homestays in Dali Erhai, this one in Lijiang is absolutely OK. In terms of service, the store will prepare fruits and white fungus soup very considerately, making you feel at home. In short, the most surprising thing about my trip to Lijiang was this homestay and Jinmao Puxiu.

This is my first trip to Yunnan and my first stay at Chixuelou. I feel very comfortable😌very good. The location is ideal and very close to Beimen/Shuangmen Park. The hotel includes pick-up and drop-off services, which is very comfortable and convenient. The butler service Li Yalong and the pick-up chef Messi were very good and better than I expected. The sweet soup every night added energy to the tired body. Because we were traveling, we couldn't participate in the flower cake making, but the hotel gave us a gift when we checked out. This is a very rip-off hotel. Please see our real case for the specific reasons why the experience is so bad! Please avoid it for the guests who booked later! 1. When I booked the snow-encrusted set, I clearly saw the mahjong table and ordered it. When I used it, I was not allowed to use it. They said it would cost 1,000 yuan and asked us to find someone to take the order. 2. The spoon was 100 yuan and the vase was 200 yuan. It was really amazing. Your hotel is not generous and makes customers feel unhappy. I will not indulge them! Please avoid it for other guests.

I love this hotel. It is located in the ancient city. There are special butlers to take the luggage. The hotel has done a lot of details. The rooms in the hotel are amazing. Each room is designed to be luxurious, elegant and atmospheric.

The Chixue Building is located above the waterwheel in the ancient city. The location is very convenient. There are travel photography, specialty shops, and coffee shops on the first floor. The free local chicken hot pot, afternoon tea, and fruit basket are provided during your stay. The delivery was casual and tasted good. Everyone in the hotel was warm and polite. The pick-up driver and front desk service were all in place. The luggage was heavy, but they helped to carry it up the stone stairs of the ancient city when picking it up and delivering it. The hotel has a very Zen and comfortable feel

This is the most satisfying hotel during this trip to Yunnan. It has an elegant environment, an excellent location, warm and thoughtful service, clean and tidy rooms, and many surprises!

When we checked in, we came to the previous hotel to pick us up, and when we checked out, the brothers helped to send the luggage to the far pick-up point. The housekeeper also took us to explore some niche museums and former residences in the ancient city of Lijiang, and gave a detailed explanation. A great hotel experience!
