Lijiang No.7 Huating Inn Reviews

We stayed there for three nights. The hotel is very nice, and the staff were very friendly, giving us great recommendations. The only downside was that the hot water switched to cold, the bathroom lock didn't work, and some of the lights were out. If these issues were fixed, it would be a 10/10 experience, but I'll give it a 7/10.

The hotel is well located, aprox 400mts from the main street (where the taxi will drop you). It's just behind the market in a quiet alley. The name at the door is different than the one in Trip.com (so just follow the baidu map direction) The owners are very friendly and helpful. They invited me with a delicious tea! Just a small sugestion for the hotel: It would be great to have a mat outside the shower and bigger cups :)

It is a house with ancient architecture located in Lijiang old town. The location is very convenient for walking in the old town. Although when we first arrived we got lost and had to ask a local to find a hotel

Location is right in the middle of the old town and very close to the market. Room was clean and comfortable, though the windows and doors have many gaps so it can be a bit cold, but with the heating on it was ok. Host was friendly and can help you book tours to Jade Dragon Mountain, though is less helpful if you want to travel independently without a tour.

Nice old house located next to the market, you can find all kind of fruits during the day and street food in the evening. The owner is helpful even though he doesn’t speak English but still find the effective way to communicate with us.

Great room and great emplacement within a cute hotel. Only downside is that it’s not well sound isolated but it’s very calm in the old village.

Located within the ancient city and walking distance to many hot spots. Service by front desk is excellent who very enthusiastically assisted us with our many queries. We were super lucky to be upgraded to a suite as well! Room is spacious and clean. Love the TV with many channels and enables us to catch up on Olympics. Amenities in the room is very complete too. I also booked another room and it was very small - just enough to open up two suitcases on the floor. . Rooms may not be suitable for families as bathroom had no doors and shower area is visible through a transparent glass.

Located in the old town of Lijiang, hence you are living in the old time of Lijiang. Staff was really helpful and fulfilled all our requests. The only issue was to access to the property, you have to carry the luggage from the nearest entrance of the old town, which is the Zhongyi market. The staff will help you with the luggage but still a bit inconvenient if you have huge luggage.

We had a lovely and amazing stay at Nilv. The staff and boss were very friendly and approachable. The boss gave helpful recommendations on where to visit and what to eat around there. The lady staff even informed us that if we were first time in such cold and dry weather conditions we need to hydrate ourselves as our nose could bleed. Such warmth touched us ♥️ As for the facilities, we loved the aesthetically designed surroundings. The room is clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable, and the toilet is perfect for us as it comes with a toilet bowl that has a seat warmer and bidet system. This is especially helpful in such a cold weather 👍 The location is near Zhongyi Market place and you don't have to worry about having nothing to eat. However, there's one thing to inform those travellers who want to stay within Lijiang ancient city, and that's the taxis and private hires aren't allowed inside, so it's best to find an accom that's near the perimeter so you don't drag your luggage over long distances, or have the hotel arrange a small vehicle to pick you up at the main road. Overall, we were truly satisfied with our stay here, thank you!!

Last minute booking but this hotel i will give 5 star because near attraction location at old town lijiang and the hotel very unique.. all attraction location only 5 minutes walk from this hotel. Cleanest hotel all good and this hotel provide bathtub good for my kids to stay in hotel room..

The hotel atmosphere and aesthetic is nice. However, our room was small, and the window wasn't closing well, we heard noise from the street all night. We were also a bit disappointed by the ability of the staff to help us with simple questions : bus station location or bus schedule to Tiger Leaping Gorge.

The hotel room was like a Buckingham Palace bedroom. It has beautiful seating area inside and the balcony. Inside the bathroom, it has a bath tub. I wish I have more space time to enjoy the room and. The facilities of the hotel. My French friends were staying here as well. We didn't feel comfortable with the main staff at the reception. He seemed reluctant to assist with travelling enquiries. A bit surprise that he knew nothing about Tiger Leaping Gorge. He constantly tried to promote his tour packages to us. It was actually our first time encountered such unpleasant experience in Yunnan. We have had such great experience with amazing hotel owners all the way from Kunming up until Dali. We think he only did this because we are foreigners from Europe. Anyway we have reported this unpleasant experience to trip.com.We have nothing to hide as trip.com is fully aware of our bad experience at this hotel.

Inside the ancient city. A lot of Street food and restaurants just stone throw away distance from the Inn.
