The hotel is right in the ancient city. You need to walk about 6 - 7 minutes on clobber stones street to reach the place. Owner should include WeChat contact in the booking so foreign be able to contact owner to find the place.

Nice place to stay in old town. Maybe owner can improve to pick up at main entrance. 10 minutes walk from main entrance. Staff very good bring us walk around Old Town. Worth it

Facility superb. Helpful to the guest. Beautifully interior. Strategic location on the centre of the Lijiang Old City. We kept our luggage here without charges.

We had such a wonderful time in this hotel the location gives the hotel beautiful vibes, the design of the hotel is unique it felt like a cartoon series or fairytale! I’ve never seen a hotel like this! the owner was very welcoming he offered us tea and traditional dessert he also speaks English and is very friendly and cooperating, we needed a lot of help and he was always there to help us, he helped us with transportation and arranging trip and answered all of our questions and more, the room is cozy and the view was beautiful there were a lot of flowers outside. The hotel has everything we need.

First of all, the hotel accepts foreigners (as of April 2024). The hotel is located in the ancient town, which is nice if you plan to spend a lot of time in the town itself, but slightly less so if you mostly plan to travel to other places from Lijiang (do note that cars can't enter the ancient town, so you'd have to carry your suitcase to the hotel from the entrance and do note that the rode is bumpy, so even if your suitcase has wheels, it may be challenging - there are motor carts that would take your bags, for a fee). Naturally, as the ancient town is extremely commercialized, there's no shortage of shops and restaurants, they are somewhat pricier compared to those outside. The hotel is nicely designed, but honestly, I didn't have much time to appreciate it, so again, it's up to you if you care for the design. The room was large, with all the necessary amenities, but do note that there's no heating/air conditioning, so it may be challenging in winter (though perhaps they provide heating in some form then). The staff was kind and helpful. Overall, a very good option if you want to stay in the ancient town, otherwise, I'd probably go for a hotel just outside it for the sake of convenience.

Very beautiful hotel in lijiang ancient town. The room is very clean and spacious. The owner can speak english and also very kind and helpful. He helped us book tour to the snow mountain. When you arrive to the gate entrance, you can hire a mover to move your luggage in cart to hotel. Only 15 yuan. 🙂👍

Great experience as it is an old house turned into an inn. The area is great. The only thing that ****** was that I had to haul my two large suitcases 15 minutes on old cobblestone which was simultaneously sweaty and embarrassing. I kept seeing this people with bikes moving luggage but I have no idea how to get that so I just suffered once there and once to leave. The old town area itself was super cute and there are a lot of things to see and do especially at night. I would recommend going to a bar and listening to a live band; great experience.

A large double bed room with a garden view. The location is also really good. We could easily find out what we need for our trip nearby the hotel.

This hotel accepts foreigners. In Lijiang it was very hard to find a place with someone in the premises. This was the third place we booked and although the reception was empty we could find a lady that was cleaning the rooms and she helped us find our room. Soon after we had a younger guy asking for our passports and doing our proper check in. The location was good and in a not crowded area. The room was a good size and comfortable. It was a bit cold and they had a portable heating that worked ok. We could hear noise from outside on the corridor. They were kind to allow us to leave our heavy luggage for a few days while we went hiking and to Shangri-la. However, bags were just left at their reception for 4 days as there is no secure place where to leave them. Besides, for most part of the day there's nobody around (at reception or elsewhere in the hotel). We even tried to add them on WeChat and that was also difficult. They didn't add us straight away and it sometimes took several days to obtain an answer (we actually had to text them). Communication is too difficult (not only because of the language barrier, but there's nobody available to talk to) and 24h-reception is a joke (but that seems to be the norm around here). However, sometimes a dog appears at reception, it seems to be the only member of staff you can contact with.

Good service and friendly pick up customers at the gate, good support in sending lugguges to the gate. The master is warm-hearted and sincerity. Warm rooms.
