But this stay is really not a good experience. It can be said that except for the scenery, it is a mess. Environment: First of all, the hotel is located in a remote area. It takes a long way to get away from Shuhe Ancient Town, and the consumption places in Shuhe Ancient Town are much worse than those in Lijiang Ancient Town. So if you love to eat and play and are not looking for escapism, it is recommended to book the InterContinental or Indigo in Lijiang Ancient Town. You can also see the Rizhao Jinshan in the lobby. Facilities: The hotel is very, very old, the charging port is not convenient, the hair dryer is an old Philips, and the air outlet is burned out. I don’t understand why it was once the first five-star hotel in Lijiang, but now it doesn’t even have the cost to replace the hair dryer. The massage room leaks air everywhere and is very cold at night. There are three air conditioners in the bathroom, living room, and bedroom, but it is still very cold when adjusted to the highest. I can barely sleep with an electric blanket. This is only November, and it is estimated to be worse in winter. Service: The service of Banyan Tree is really very poor, the breakfast is very unpalatable, and there are few categories. According to the reviews, the front desk of the hotel that checked in in November also upgraded the room type, but we didn't get any upgrade when we checked in. The hotel's free and paid schedule activities include a farm to feed animals. In fact, it's just a few small vegetable plots. The animal is a rabbit, but I didn't see it. It's completely false advertising. The waiters all don't know what they are talking about. There is a wooden boat on the lake at the entrance of the restaurant. There is a sign next to it saying that you need to consult the staff for boating. After running around, the waiter said that the boat is broken and can't be rowed. Wouldn't it be better to just put up a sign to make it clear? I asked the waiter in the restaurant how to go to the farm to feed the animals. I pointed the way to the front desk. The front desk said that we had to go back to the restaurant to get carrots and then feed the rabbits. It was a terrible experience like being walked by dog. During afternoon tea time, the person standing outside the restaurant door was always live-streaming to sell hotel packages. The photos he took were all filled with the background sound of him linking on 321. It's inconvenient to walk back and forth in the villa hotel. It's very, very slow to call the shuttle bus to go out or deliver things. On the first day of check-in, I found that the conditioner was empty. After taking a shower and drying my hair, the conditioner was not delivered. In summary, the scenery is first-rate, but the facilities and services are third-rate. If you don't have altitude sickness, I suggest staying at Puxiu in the snow mountain, where the scenery is much better. If you care about smart facilities, normal services, and the convenience of the surrounding area, I suggest booking the InterContinental Indigo Hyatt in the ancient city. Banyan Tree is too comfortable, which is why its reputation is getting worse and worse. Even when checking out, I asked the front desk for a bag to put my things in, and I had to pay for it, but Indigo directly gave me a canvas bag. It was a speechless experience.
