Vasia Boulevard Hotel (Adults Only)

We are sad to be writing this review as we only want to write good reviews. We booked a superior sea view hotel direct with the hotel which was a huge mistake as no comeback with regard to any monetary refund for the days we paid for and not even the occupancy tax which had to pay again at the next hotel. We were allocated room 401 and straight away we noticed how small it was, particularly the bathroom which you couldn’t move around without the fear of bumping into something. You couldn’t sit on the toilet without sitting on it at an angle either. However, worst of all was the open drain smell, we were told it’s because the room had not been aired for a while and to open the so called balcony doors. Having looked at the balcony we informed the receptionist that we were unhappy with the room, she said the hotel was 100% full and we couldn’t be moved. We informed them within 40 minutes of arrival we would be checking out the following morning. The hotel is a 3 star tops, the pool is shaded, tiny for 66 rooms more suitable for 5 rooms and is very uninviting however the breakfast was not too bad and the hotel manager was apologetic and courteous. Sadly, that’s the only positive I can say for this hotel.

Overall disappointed. It’s overpriced for what it is. Minimal facilities available. Pool small and in the shade. No bar. Tiny bathroom with a leaking shower and plumbing issues. The balcony for the premium sea view was so tiny we struggled to both be out on it at the same time. Housekeeping not great one evening we had to wash the floors ourselves with a towel which was black with dirt. Breakfast choice very poor and cold. After a few days we started having breakfast out. Beach area tiny and dirty and there is a charge for sunbeds. On the plus side staff friendly and helpful especially Marina on reception. In summary for a budget of 150 euro a night this would an ok hotel. At the prices actually charged way overpriced. There are many better options in the area at less cost.

Lovely hotel, great location. The rooms were spotless and the tea, coffee and water was replenished every day. The staff couldn't do enough for you especially Voula on reception who helped me with some correspondence from home which I was unable to do myself. The only thing that let it down was the hot breakfast wasn't that hot, plenty of choice. We were given a bottle of procceco with a plate of fruit as it was our golden wedding which was really nice

Hotel is in a good location , located in Hersonissos, nice hotel, small but comfy rooms, including everything you need.stuff is very friendly and helpful, Voula the best in reception ,spa stuff. Breakfast is tasty. Pool is small but cozy in a calm area.

Attention to anyone considering booking at Vasia Boulevard Boutique in Hersonissos, Crete. Here are some details that I hope will help you. I will also be posting pictures of the hotel that convey more than words can. We spent seven wonderful days at Vazia Boulevard and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the fantastic service and stylish design. Although we didn't initially have a sea view room, the hotel arranged for us to have a room with a sea view, which was a lovely gesture. The breakfast buffet was a dream, offering a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, delicious pastries, and fresh honey. The professional staff serving breakfast made a real impression – they took orders, served Greek coffee, orange juice, and many other delightful beverages in a very professional manner. The room was extremely fresh and well-maintained every day, with very high-quality bedding. The cleaning staff did an outstanding job keeping it clean and replenishing water and toiletries. The only thing we would have liked was additional storage, as there was only one wardrobe. A small table or similar for placing luggage would have been practical, instead of having to put it on the floor. The staff, from the reception (Maria a Vola and a gentelman whose name i unfortunately don’t recall and to the kitchen and café staff, truly went above and beyond. Especially the hotel manager, Nikos, who was one of the most helpful and professional people we have ever met. He and the entire staff made us feel like part of the family. The hotel's location was also perfect, close to the beach and offering a calm, relaxing atmosphere. We genuinely felt like we wanted to return, and we definitely will. Just got home from Chersonissos and stayed week in this lovely, adults only hotel. The rooms are lovely, cleaned daily and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and the location of the hotel,is just perfect. Location was very central by the beach and everything is just behind the corner. Still, we had good night sleeps. We had a seaview room on the 3rd floor. Hotel was so calm and peaceful place. The best part of this hotel was still staff! They did absolutely everything they could,so the quests would enjoy their holidays. Special thanks to Voula,who tried to help us in the situation, where MOTORENTAL-rental car company cheated us with full insurance. AVOID THIS MOTORENTAL COMPANY!! It’s the company,where are signs, that cars are 70% discount. Their full insurance doesn’t cover your rental car,if someone hits the car at Parking lot, so it’s NOT really full insurance. We had to pay for the damage we didn’t make! There are so many others car rentals nearby, so choose wisely. We should have rented the car from the hotels partners, but didn’t, and we paid for that. So,if you’re gonna rent a car,rent it from the hotels partners. They will help you with the rental in the reception gladly,and they co-operate with good and decent rental companies. The pool was small,but it was ok to take a dip there after beach. If you want to try something else, there is Ocean Beach Club (100metres away), where was a big pool. This was one of the best hotels,where we have been because of the people who work there. Thank you.❤️

To , Nikos (best Manager we've ever met) Marina at reception as well as Dimitris and all the staff at Vasia Boulevard. A huge thank you to all of you for the outstanding hospitality you guys have shown us. A 5 star boutique hotel situated in the lively town of Hersinossos.The private beachfront just a few steps away .The rooms are clean and beds very comfy . I would recommend a sea view room if you are in luck . Breakfast is good and lunch and dinner is served at the restaurant outside the Hotel with beautiful sea views, especially at night when the town is all lit up. Highly recommend this Hotel.

This hotel is not adults only, I saw numerous underage guests staying here. There are a lot of underage kids drinking in this area and some are clearly staying here. Secondly, the hotel door is locked in the evening (understandably for security etc), but there is no way back in other than reception letting you in, who are not always there. We were told someone would be there 24hrs. We were locked out for 12 minutes and when I complained the next day (mentioning we were outside for nearly 20 minutes and I called the number on the website only for the call handler to be rude and tell me about an unrelated incident) I was called into a meeting by an incredibly patronising, horrible man. He proceeded to tell me it was only 12 minutes, it was extremely dangerous in Hersonissos and they were also inconvenienced by my calling, ranting for 6 minutes until he claimed this was an apology, despite not actually saying sorry until then. The number I called was the 'call us' button on their site which links to another hotel in the group. He argued with me about how it was my fault I got the number wrong , and demanded I showed him, and then was quiet when I clearly showed him their website button was misleading and links to the incorrect number. I was extremely upset after this interaction and it ruined my day so when I emailed stating I wanted to make a complaint about him, he decided to give me a complementary bottle of wine and ignored my request to provide details for a complaint. If you are going to lock guests out at night and leave the desk unattended for ANY length of time, you need to provide guests with a direct number to someone who can help. Furthermore, get a new manager who knows how to speak to people with respect. I would never stay here again.
