room is very clean, staff were helpful.
They don't have a carpark, you use the Q-park across street above Dunnes, and pay at a special rate of 12/per 24 hour at reception when check out.

The hotel is very centrally situated, 5min walking to shopping, bars and restaurants. Hotel maintenance in the rooms could do with some improvement. Generally in good condition but showing its age in some areas. Breakfast is good. The bar area is good to relax in after returning in the late evening. Convenient temporary parking just outside the front door to unload luggage.

4 of us dined at the Library restaurant at the Savoy Hotel, Limerick which hosts the fantastic Liam O'Brien show and dinner. The food (Table d'Hote menu) was excellent. I opted for mouth watering scallops to start, followed by deliciously delectable prawns, in a lobster bisque with spaghetti, then an assortment of ice cream, complemented with a bottle of Argentinian Malbec. Liam O'Brien crooned during the meal and then upped the tempo. I closed my eyes and listened to Michael Buble, Ed Sheran, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra (ending with "New York, New York"). We were served by Maggie and Sarah, who were wonderful Ambassadors for the Hospitality trade. A wonderful night, in a wonderful setting. Many thanks Maggie, Sarah, Liam (an outstanding talent) and all the management and staff of the Savoy Hotel. YES! We will be back.

We celebrated our daughters graduation in the Hamilton bar at the Savoy Hotel. It's hard to please me because I have been dissatisfied with a few restaurants in the past. But I have to say that was not the case in the Savoy. The food was amazing. We all had something different and everyone was delighted with their choice. It was 10 out of 10. We had the 3 course meal option and I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone. The staff were also very professional and attentive. Well done everyone because I will be back and can not wait to taste your food again.

The customer service is amazing here. Especially one lady, Sarah. As we were checking in she noticed my youngest son eyeing the darling teddy bear at the front desk. She asked if he liked teddy bears, he said YES!!! Then she gave him Chaymus the teddy bear and asked him to look after the bear. With much delight this bear has gone everyplace with us. What Sarah did not know is that day was the 11 month anniversary of his dad’s death/ my husband. Always a challenging, sad day. This random act of kindness immediately changed all of our emotions to happiness. Reminded us we are surrounded with love and how much the little things mean. What a great touch Savoy!! Sarah is a gem, she had zero clue what this meant to us. The place is clean, friendly, great food and location. We have stayed at several 5 star hotels on our travels through Ireland. This is by far the best. Sarah - you make the world a better place! Many thanks for the teddy bear…. It means more than you can imagine. Oh and by the way, Chaymus is enjoying his new family and our vacation! Thank you! Sarah is a true blessing.

Very nice hotel. Staff is very friendly, nice and modern decor, spacious room with very comfortable bed. TV has a casting option- for some reason it did not work for me and it is a useful feature. Hotel also offers a discounted rate for the nearby car park and a really nice breakfast.
