Room clean but dated.
No Hot water in sink. Cold shave had, not good start to my morning.
Electric shower took ages to heat up. A good few minutes passed before water was at a temp to shower.
Walls paper thin. Can hear all conversations at reception. Woken during night multiple times.

Our stay as expected a small but practical room, unfortunately due to events on the weekend the price did not reflect the facilities or quality of hotel.

Going to the Woodfields as long as I can remember and this is my first ever bad review which is saying alot! The last two times I was there the man serving us had a major attitude issue probably the worst ive ever seen simple questions were met with the utmost sarcastic responses and made our dinner pure awkward and couldn't wait to leave. Today was the last time I'll ever step inside the door again considering I've being going here with my partner and friends and family for a long time. It felt like a vendetta or something because I was told to carry our own drinks when watching him deliver drinks to other tables. A waiter/waitress even said that this has never happened before and they said it was very strange. Who ever this so called man is (manager or supervisor is in the wrong perfession) Food was fab and waiters were sound exactly what im used too but that person needs a good wake up call because hes a serious god complex.

I have just returned from this hotel after a long weekend with 5 girlfriends. We honestly had the best time here. The staff couldn’t do enough for us…we were really well looked after. The room was bright, the beds comfortable with good pillows. Tea/coffee/water was provided in the room each day. Breakfast was exceptionally good…a vast selection of choices and great quality and well presented. We loved the friendliness of the locals and the bar was warm and welcoming. We ate here one evening and again the food was fabulous. A small selection of wines but they were great quality…and have obviously been well selected. I definitely recommend a stay here and have no doubt that I will return….

Got a last minute booking for lunch . Family lunch with 3 generations - all catered for with friendly efficient service. Have to especially mention Sophie ( Red hair) who was so helpful and has a great sense of humour. She was friendly and gave good advice on what to choose. All happy & clean plates. We had Caesar/ stew/ roast beef / soup & sandwich combo. Very very enjoyable.
