Pulling into the property was extremally disappointing. The grounds looked so unkept not at all like the web site shows. Grass over a foot tall with weeds even taller. Shrubs overgrown. We stayed in the Grand Suite. We had sugar ants and the refrigerator sounded like a stick in bicycle spokes, horribly loud. No phone in the room, had to go to lobby with any issue. We paid for the Glass Float package and I never received the beer "Pelican Cream Ale" that I requested with the package. By the way the Pelican brewery is in Lincoln City. We arrived to Coors light in the room. I went to the lobby and they said that they could see the notes about the requested beer and was told someone messed up and they would get me the beer I requested. Later while having family time at the pool I was approached because the person that went to Safeway to get the beer "didn't drink" and couldn't find it. Maybe ask a Safeway worker. I gave alternatives as it was becoming ridiculous. Remember they knew over 1 week prior the beer request I had. They eventually left Blue Moon beer in the refrigerator. The next morning shower head fell off. I fixed it but not a fun experience. I informed the lobby of the refrigerator issue. I was called later that day and told they probably couldn't get into the room to look at the refrigerator because they couldn't find a key. I felt as if they were trying to get me to pause my vacation to come give them my key. I was very frustrated and said this was all unprofessional. They did get in some how and left a bottle of wine but the refrigerator was still making the loud horrible noise. No restful sleep. Last day, I went to the lobby to get breakfast to bring back and eat in our suite. As we were sitting down to eat we noticed sugar ants all over the suite's kitchen. We were done. That was enough. Per the extra package we purchased our check out was not until 1pm but we left by 10AM. As a warning, the Grand Suite it right at the exit/entrance to the property and less than 30yards off the highway. Very, Very loud. All the windows are facing the main entrance so cars, foot traffic etc. can see into your room unless your blinds and curtains are closed. It feels like your in a cave. No private patio so no being outside at your room. This is the Grand Suite the most expensive room. Seems ridiculous as the other rooms have patios or balconies. The staff was nice but the negatives far outweigh everything.
