Nous sommes allés dans cet hôtel pour une nuit en août. Étant donné la chaleur nous avons fait attention à la présence d’une clim pour notre recherche d’hôtel sur booking. En arrivant il n’y a pas de clim. De plus le réceptionniste nous assure que les chambres avec une clim son déjà toutes réservées. Après d’âpres négociations et l’avoir menacé de demander le remboursement total, il nous dit que finalement une chambre avec clim s’est libérée, problème nous sommes 4 et c’est une chambre pour 2. Au final nous finissons avec 2 chambres pour 2 dont une non climatisée où il fait environ 30ºc et dormons donc à 4 dans la chambre climatisée (un sur le canapé et l’autre sur le sol). Cela mis à part les chambres sont vieillissantes et pas particulièrement propres. De plus le parquet grince tellement que le moindre mouvement sur ce dernier suffit à réveiller toute personne dans un rayon de 30 mètres.

Encore un hôtel qui n'est pas fait pour les handicapés. Au 1er étage par un escalier bien raide. Sans ascenseur. Sinon superbe chambre spacieuse. Déco rococo à souhait. Les petites attentions d'un grand hôtel. Bien situé en plein centre ville.

Excellent location and great service. The older gentleman on the desk was humorous and the young Turkish beautiful woman was so helpful. Highly recommend this 500 year old Hotel. Breakfast was top notch aswell. We traveled through Europe and Linz was our favorite place

I had a single room for one night in this hotel, traveling with friends as we biked the Danube path. This is an older, charming hotel with very personable staff. My room was small but interestingly furnished and the bathroom was great - large and very modern and spotlessly clean. My room was towards the back and did not face the square. It did not have air conditioning but the fan kept it very comfortable. The room was quieter than I expected. Breakfast was standard, in a lovely room. The location on the main square is perfect. I'd stay here again!

Ein Haus mit she viel Tradition. Alles ist sauber und gut unterhalten. In den Zimmern sieht man der Einrichtung an, dass alles etwas älter ist. Personal sehr freundlich und Frühstücksbüffet sehr reichhaltig. Die zentrale Lage ist super. Die Zimmer in den Innenhof sind sehr ruhig.

I have stayed in Linz many times but this was my first stay at this hotel. I stayed with my two adult daughters and we shared a triple room. The furnishings are traditional, the room large and comfortable beds the shower room and we are separate and modern. We had breakfast included which was in a beautiful large and airy room overlooking the Hauptplatz. The buffet breakfast was delicious and constantly being refreshed. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, I can highly recommend this hotel and will stay there when I next visit Linz. I dropped one star because of the many steps to the reception, it’s not something that can be altered but are difficult for the elderly or disabled. Thank you for making our stay a very pleasant one.

The hotel reception is on the first floor so not great suitable for guests with a disability. There is a lift in the hotel between 1st and 4th floor. The larger rooms are worth while. Plenty of space, coach, chairs and a desk. The rooms have modernised bathrooms and separate toilet (some with bidet). Great breakfast buffet in a pleasant atmosphere. 24/7 staff presence at the reception.

I stayed here for work, it was a really great experience. A beautiful and well cared for historic building, amazing breakfast, clean, cosy room with great facilities. and incredibly helpful, professional and pleasant staff. I. definitely hope to return again. Thank you!
