Wir waren mit einer größeren Reisegruppe in diesem Hotel. Die Uferpromenade lädt zum Spazieren ein. Die Kellner an der Hotelbar waren mit der größeren Gruppe leicht überfordert. Die Zimmer waren anständig und sauber. Von der Innenstadt kommt man in ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß ins Hotel.

Für mich das ideale Hotel in Linz! Komme schon seit sehr vielen Jahren her, als es noch das Steigenberger war. Abgesehen von der Lage, Kulinarik, möchte ich ganz besonders das Team hervorheben! Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Donau ist einer meiner Highlights, nachdem ich ich zum "Ausdampfen" nach der Sauna rausgehe, auf die ich mich immer wieeder freue.

Wir kommen schon seit einigen Jahren regelmässig in die Donauwelle, doch unser letzter Besuch hier, hat alle vorhergehenden, im positiven Sinne, übertroffen!!! Schon bei der Buchung wurden wir sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend informiert und auf unseren Wunsch, ein Zimmer im 1.Stock reserviert, da wir nicht schwindelfrei sind. Es ist alles super sauber, zweckmässig und das Bett wunderbar :-) Der Restaurantbereich hat sich auch sehr zum Positiven verändert, seit unserem letzten Besuch. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und willkommen. Die Damen und Herren im Service sind äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend !!! Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichlich und sehr gut ! Auch die Speisekarte ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Donauwelle eignet sich ausserdem wunderbar für ein Familientreffen, das haben wir bei unserem letzten Besuch erfahren. Wir fühlten uns willkommen und bestens versorgt. Herzlichen Dank nochmals dem gesamten Restaurant - Team, Mike für seine tolle Betreuung während des Anlasses, und vor allem Frank Sonntag, R&B Manager, für die grossartige Organisation Heinz & Heidi

Das Hotel ist neben der Autobahnabfahrt verkehrsgünstig gelegen, zum Zentrum sind es 2 km. Von der Ausstattung ist es eher ein 3 Sterne Hotel. Die Standardzimmer sind zweckmäßig renoviert Richtung Autobahn, die Superior ( alter Teppich, Kaffeemaschine) in einem anderen abgeschirmten Trakt. Man muss aber einiges an Lärm aushalten, denn wenn es nicht der Verkehr ist, sind es rücksichtslose Gäste, die im Gang herum schreien, oder bei offenem Fenster laut feiern. Die Zimmermädchen unterhalten sich sehr laut früh am Morgen im Gang und rufen sich aus den Zimmern alles mögliche zu. Da helfen auch keine Oropax mehr. Positiv: Das Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich, spricht leider nur wenig Deutsch. Positiv ist der coffee to go for free. Es gibt einen richtigen Schreibtisch und einen richtigen Schrank. Achtung: der Snackautomat gibt kein Rückgeld.

Alles ist super👍👍 Nur das Parkplatzproblem, 16 Euro pro Nacht. Die Personal war sehr nett und das Hotel war sauber und ordentlich.
