Great location right next door to the national park entrance (10 mins walk) where you can then buy tickets for entry and buses around the different platforms. We got up for the sunrise which was well worth it. Yurts basic but good - twin beds, desk and fan. Communal showers and toilets (it is camping), separate for men and women. Large dining tent for meals. Breakfast okay then hotpot offer in the evening. Very helpful hosts keen to make your stay as good and enjoyable as possible.

Only two of us stayed in the lodging place because it is off season. We enjoyed the accommodation and the environment. Staff are attentive and provide super excellent service. We were suprise to be welcome with hot breakfast and coffee when we came back from our morning Dangxia tour. Didn't expect to be served breakfast because we came back after 10am.

We had an amazing time at Kaoshan camp, it is in the most beautiful place! The staff were all so kind and welcoming, especially 尚小飞 Shang Xiao Fei who helped us arrange everything from transfers to day tours, lunches and even a surprise birthday cake! This place is truly magical and so conveniently located next to Colourful Danxia. Highly recommend staying here for a unique experience!

it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Nestled in a serene natural setting, the tent hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury and rustic charm. Very cosy place near the main atractions in the area.
The breakfast was delicious and the staff always attentive to our needs.
The Manager was very very friendly and helpful. Always ready to help and took us everywhere we needed to go. His suggestions were spot on! Nothing was a bother to him and always available on wechat. Prime location! From our yurt we could see the geo park - West gate. We absolutely recommend this hotel to foreigners.

This hotel is recommended for those who need to stay in menggu tent. Their facilities are appropriate and nice preparation. We forgot clothes at the hotel, the owner is very nice they helped to send them to us as requested.

The service at Kaoshan Daying Self-Driving Guest house was brilliant. The staff were welcoming, warm and extremely helpful with planning and adjusting plans to make this stay everything I was looking for. The beds in the huts were very comfortable, the bathroom facilities were clean had all of the amenities conveniently located. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience here!

Exactly what we were hoping for - within walking distance of the Danxia Park and nearby town for food. Strongly recommend to eat in the nearby town, not the Yurt complex itself. No coffee for breakfast

Very remote but perfectly located next to Zhangye rainbow mountain park. Staff is super friendly and helped us discover the surroundings with a morning hike in the mountains and with ideas to discover the city afterwards. Highly recommended for a quiet camping but confortable experience.

Absolutely amazing place to stay when you want to visit Rainbow Mountains! Located just 5 min walk from the entrance to the scenic area. The owner is super friendly and is very good with foreigners. Great breakfast and very friendly dog ☺️☺️

Great location, right by the west enterance by park.
The owner helped us arrange a driver from the station and back.
Breakfast was alright, hotpot for dinner is a must!
Bathrooms clean, provided towels, tissues, shampoo, bodywash and even shaving sets! All yurts were neat and warm, with heated blankets for the cold evening. Only downside is if you are a light sleeper, noise travels quite intensely, however there are signs reminding guests to remain considerate.
