Located inside the Zhaoxing village. Facilities are good and room was cleaned daily. The toiletries are basic and I recommend you bring your own. There were free 2 bottles of water everyday but there is also a water dispenser at the reception. The guy at the reception picked me up from the village gate so it was easy and I did not have to search for the location. He gave me an introduction to the map of the village and showed me where interesting areas are located. The hotel is a short walk to town hospital which is convenient for covid testing and also the bus stop to go to Miao village and railway station. My room has a balcony that faces the lake, very nice view. The reception guy was very helpful, answers all my questions and also helped me purchase local snacks to take back to Shanghai. Not sure if he sleeps because he was always available! Breakfast is Chinese noodles with some purple taro, mantou and egg. It's the same everyday. I had a very relaxed and comfortable stay! He has big white eyes and a wagging little tail. He even follows us out for a walk. I love him so much~ I didn’t go to Qianhu Miao Village, but got a special surprise in Zhaoxing Dong Village. I escaped from the urban planning and experienced the fireworks of Dong Village ~ it was worth it!

I heard that we had never been to the observation deck, so we went around to the observation deck at the middle of the mountain to let us overlook the whole Dong Village.

The best experience of this trip, the hotel is in a good location, just next to the main street, and the path leading to the hotel is surrounded by high walls like Disney, cutting off the hustle and bustle outside. I heard that this location was originally the primary school in the village. After the primary school moved away, they took over this Feng Shui treasure land, which is located in the center. Every service staff in the store is warm and thoughtful, and you can see the care and hard work of the boss and staff. Every detail is done very well. There is a program of Dong ethnic group big song in the evening, there is great coffee at the bar, and each welcome fruit is washed (including bananas, the first time I have seen washed bananas), and the breakfast is very rich, clean and hygienic. And I am not polite to say that in so many days and so many places in Guizhou, the best bowl of noodles is eaten here. There is also a washing machine in the room, and there are shuttle buses to take us to the boarding point to go to the surrounding attractions. Before leaving, I also gave the boss the intangible cultural heritage souvenir purple rice. When visiting the village, I also found that the owner of this store also donated generously to the market cultural activities of the village. The coffee equipment was also moved from Shanghai.
