Room super clean.  Bed super comfy.  We all slept very well.  Parking available in hotel basement.  Very convenient.  I personnally appreciate the green policy of hotel very well.  They encourage changing towels and bed sheets only on the 4th days.  But, of course, they will help to change at your request.  Kettle will be provided upon request.  One thing the hotel can do better.  We stayed for 4 nights and the breakfast food were exactly the same for 4 days.

Well located hotel with courteous and accommodating staff! Breakfast is basic but you can’t beat free

The environment is good. The room is not big but they provide body lotion. Although the location is a little far from the subway, it feels like a busy neighborhood. Overall it is very good

La habitación está impecable, limpio, nuevo...la ducha excelente y la cama muy buena.
El desayuno es de calidad, salvo el zumo que no es natural.
La zona es tranquila con restaurantes, aunque algo alejada del centro histórico.
El precio me ha parecido excesivo para un hotel que no tiene instalaciones como gimnasio, sauna....
Pero por lo demás, la atención es muy buena.

The room is impeccable, clean, new...the shower was excellent and the bed was very good.
The breakfast is of quality, except for the juice which is not natural.
The area is quiet with restaurants, although somewhat far from the historic center.
The price seemed excessive for a hotel that does not have facilities such as a gym, sauna....
But otherwise, the attention is very good.

We were booked into the three-star Principe Lisboa next door. When we arrived, the receptionist there said we were getting an “upgrade”. Turns out we were moving to Principe Avila next door. This is a newer hotel and is four stars. I had asked for a room at the back when I booked, months ago. I was allocated a room at the back. Many hotels ignore these requests. The back of the hotel faces onto a street ( Pinheiro Chargas) but we didn’t hear a sound from the street over three nights. Didn’t hear a sound internally either. Comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. A fridge and a safe in the room. A large complementary bottle of water in the room each day. Good AC and fast WiFi. Very good breakfast. The croissants were delicious. The steps from the metro (direct from the airport and from Oriente train station) are just across the street - follow the signs for Av. Duque de Avila. The metro line for downtown also goes through the same station. We had a tasty meal at Restaurante Valbom nearby, which seems to be open earlier than other places. We also ate at Maria Pexeira. Nice food, but lots of tourists there. We will definitely return to Principe Avila.

My wife and I had a great 3 night stay in a double room. Everything was spotless and quiet at night. The build quality of the room was solid, with good lighting options. We had breakfast included - my wife's gluten free (coeliac) and found there was more than enough choice for her. The safe was really useful, big enough to put a laptop etc in there. We also found the staff to be friendly and professional, both at the front desk and those serving breakfast.  My only (small) criticism were the pillows which were very puffy, almost feeling like they were inflated, it's hard to describe. Also, the quality of coffee was fine, not good enough for a 4* hotel but these are detail things - everything else was great!

This hotel has a great location of want to be in a V locals area with great restaurants at half the price of down town.  It’s right at the end of the metro run from the airport - hint - when you get off the metro train turn left rather than right which is what most people do - this brings you to a metro exit right outside the hotel.  The hotel is modern, the rooms are large and very comfortable.  There is a fridge, safe and water replenished daily.  The breakfast was really good with nice selection.  Staff were all very polite
