Lovely hotel. Very good food and the staff is super kind! Absolutely recommended!

Interior of this hotel was amazing including outside pool area! Staffs were helpful and the hotel was located close to the metro. Only things were that the mattress and pillows was too soft for me so i did woke up with back and neck pain. I wish they provided free water bottles in the fridge but otherwise, everything was incredible!

Great hotel

I stayed at Locke in Edinburgh before, and I stayed there again when I saw a new one opened in Lisbon. This one is very big and just opened not long ago. The advantage is that it is really new, but the disadvantage is that the decoration smell is a bit obvious. The room is OK, apartment design, with kitchen, refrigerator, sofa and TV. It is generally quite convenient for three days. It is also easy to get a taxi, and it is not far to Liberty Avenue. There are restaurants and cafes downstairs, the products are OK, and the prices are medium. We did not order hotel breakfast. For breakfast, we went directly to the cafe in the lobby to buy a cup of coffee, a Portuguese tart and bread for breakfast for about 10 euros. We also patronized the restaurant downstairs in the evening. The products were OK, and the average cost per person was about 32 euros.

The hotel is very very very good

The room is good overall, you can make some simple meals. This is a serviced apartment, they do not provide daily cleaning service. If you need to change towels, you need to go to the front desk to get paper towels. The hotel has a small swimming pool which is very popular. There are free drinks at the small bar next to it…

Great location and very friendly staff. Our twin studio overlooked the pool and was very well equipped and high standard decor. Only downside was we were told the room would be cleaned on a specific day during the week, which didn't happen, but was fine as didn't really need it. The location was perfect so many great restaurants down R. de Santa Marta/R. Sao Jose. Definitely recommend Simple Coffee for breakfast/brunch, Antikuario Cafe for best evening meal we had (must book at least day before) and the Lisbon Wine Hotel for great wine and people watching.

Great location to explore the city from, with some great little bars, Dona Piadina at bottom of street, and restaurants, Taberna Anti Dantas, close by.

From beginning to end our experience of Locke De Santa was disappointing on so many levels(no pun intended) On arrival we were asked for most of the information what we had already been 'encouraged' to do on line....including paying in advance! We were taken to our room by a 'guide' who gave us a floor map of the complex pointing out that it consists of four separate buildings (NOT ONE CONVENT AS YOUR WEBSITE WOULD SUGGEST) separated by a communal, partly tiled, courtyard. From reception we had to descend two floors by elevator, then pull/carry our own bags across the courtyard to another block where we were taken UP THREE FLIGHTS of stairs, DOWN ONE FLIGHT of stairs and into a room which appeared to be/felt BELOW street level and where the only light came from two narrow windows both of which were at least eight feet above floor level, effectively making the room feel like a TOMB. We refused this room and found our way back to reception where we were allocated another room in the same block but on a higher floor. This room faced into a garden courtyard where, on our first night, LOUNGE MUSIC was played through the PA system until after midnight........despite there being no one in the garden all evening. Five attempts to reach Front Desk went unanswered despite our using the number shown on the TV info screen in the room. We were told later that the number shown should be called via a mobile........which begs the question.......why was there a house phone in the room? The room itself was so narrow in part that it was only possible to access either side of the bed by sidling along the wall/screen. The bedside 'brackets' were also virtually unusable for anything other than to hold the so called House Phone. There was also no suitable area to store suitcases, nor was there a waste basket in the room, but there was a jar of drinks material which included sachets of coffee.....for which there was no coffee machine. Also the room did not have a fridge. On our (thankfully) last night of three we were again unable to sleep due to the sound of music and argument coming from the main courtyard of the hotel. Of course, we couldn't call Front Desk. We also 'discovered' on our penultimate day that the room?apartment? is only cleaned, and changed of bed linen, once a week! All of the above, in addition to the confusing, non sensical 'minus' numbering of the various levels, - EG how does one enter an elevator to press a button marked -1 and then rise three floors? - made our time at The Locke more of an endurance test than "a place to live, to be .....feel free" Our visit to the wonderful city of Lisbon was made one of disappointment by our stay time the Locke Hotel. Only the physical location and the pleasant nature of the reception staff could bring my partner and I to give the establishment TWO STARS.
