The location is good. It is very convenient to go shopping on Liberty Avenue and to the British Palace.

Our arrival/greeting was very good. Very funny & amusing as I met my "second wife" lily. She was very funny and made us so welcome. She is an asset to your hotel. We booked as a two couples but we in different floors which was a shame. Rooms were clean, great shower and beds comfortable. The breakfast was really good. With scrambled egg, bacon and beans being the hot options. But plenty other delights. No bar. The hotel is sandwiched between 2 sister hotels the HFlisboa and HFmusic. The music hf has a roof top bar with limited choices, the most luxurious was the HFlisboa. That had a lovely bar area. If we come back to lisbon we would certainly consider the HFgarden again

Fantastic staff, very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable and saying as it was close to such a large busy roundabout it was remarkably quiet. We booked breakfasts on arrival, cheaper than doing it through the UK travel agency, and that was a good decision as the breakfasts were superb. I would certainly recommend the Fenix Garden and will book it again when we return to Lisbon.

We used this hotel as our base in Lisbon for four days before collecting a rental car and heading north. It was very easy to reach from the airport using the Metro. The Marques de Pombal station is only a very short walk away from the hotel. Check in was smooth and efficient. I had made the reservation several months ago, taking advantage of a special offer, so we had an excellent room on the 7th floor with a fine view overlooking Parque Eduardo VII (and the endless traffic around the massive roundabout). Apart from the emergency vehicles, traffic noise generally was not a problem. The room was spotless with good storage, although the little round handles on the wardrobe doors were frustratingly hard to grasp! Breakfast was plentiful with a good range of choices. The hotel does not serve evening meals, but on our first night we were easily accommodated in the restaurant of the HF Lisboa Hotel just around the corner. This hotel gave us a smooth and comfortable start to our travels into Northern Portugal.

The hotel staff were very helpful and the facilities were good. It was very clean and the breakfast had a good selection. The bar wasn’t open whilst we were there but Fenix Music, next door has a bar in the reception area; the service there wasn’t brilliant. You can use the facilities of the other sister hotels nearby but as the weather wasn’t warm enough we didn’t experience the pool. It’s a great 3 star hotel that I’m happy to recommend; a half hour stroll down the main street to the river.

Great hotel, and value for money. Top of Avenue de liberte, walk of about 20mins into heart of city. Rooms large, big bed. Good size bathroom with powerful shower. Definitely would stay here again.

Had an excellent week staying at this lovely hotel. Room serviced every day, clean towels everyday, beds changed during our stay. Comfortable big beds, pillows Comfortable too. Spotlessly clean, staff friendly, and helpful. Checking in and checking out were quick. Close to public transport, buses and metro station. Depending on how fast you walk or which route you take, about 20 minutes walk to downtown Lisbon, further 10 minutes to the main square. Bolt taxis reasonably cheap and fast way of getting around. Definitely would stay again.

An excellent short weekend stay. Very good location within minutes of metro station and easy to get around the whole city. Only 30 mins from airport. Easy check in and out. Lovely large size with room with all amenities, excellent shower and WiFi.

Excellent quality 👌 the staff were very friendly. The location was perfect and the breakfast and the daily cleaning of our room was brilliant 👏 we stayed on the 7th floor which faced the roundabout and gardens. It was so lovely to come back to our room after a day of walking to such a high standard and attention to detail. Thank you 😊

The fenix garden hotel was clean nice spacious rooms staff friendly a bit far from the centre of lisbon breakfast was nice plenty of choice our room was com with a king-size bed the sound from the street was nois would have liked a quiet room but would stay again

Great city location, straight across the road is the starting point for hop on hop off bus, if you're interested. Taxi is probably the easiest route from the airport (tho beware of rip off drivers). ROOMS are bright, clean, modern and very inviting, with a safe, fridge, huge amount of drawers and wardrobe space. Bed was firm but very comfortable, room temperature was good if slightly warm, but we opened a window and it was still quiet. Noise from adjoining rooms is also minimal. TV was mostly local offering, but some English language movies also to be found. Likewise the bathroom was clean and modern, with decent water pressure in the shower, toiletries and hairdryer provided. HOUSEKEEPING was very efficient, towels were replaced each day and the room was in perfect order on our return. BREAKFAST was great - worth the price- with a good selection of fresh portioned fruit, yoghurt, breakfast cereals, hams, cheese, rolls, bread and toaster, fresh juices, Prosecco too, plus coffee, hot chocolate and tea/herbals. Also hot food; scrambled eggs, bacon, mushrooms, beans and a varied selection of pastries, which changed each morning. Staff are friendly and helpful. This was the best value hotel I found in the city centre and it provides a standard well above its 3 star rating. There isn't a hotel bar, but comfortable seating in the lobby and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby (a convenience store also, just up the road, or ALDI is less than 1km away - remember you have a very useful fridge). TRANSPORT is nearby, with easy access to the metro or tour buses, tho much of the tourist sights are within an easy walk from the hotel and the area is safe to walk day or night. AFTER CHECKOUT we were able to store our luggage behind the reception desk, allowing us the freedom to enjoy our final day in Lisbon. We were given a ticket to identify our bags, which I felt were secure. Staff also pre-booked a private taxi service to the airport on departure, which was slightly more expensive than a regular taxi but service was excellent, punctual and friendly. I would highly recommend the HF FENIX GARDEN and will certainly stay again on a return visit.
