it was a very nice vacation. this hotel is very beautiful, in a quiet location with very beautiful gardens, the rooms provide you with a beautiful view of a small bay furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas, bar, football field and many activities from the staff. the apartments are spacious and equipped with everything you need. I recommend this hotel

This hotel has possibly one of the best locations. But th seeing and the lighting and the general l’atout is a mess. From the room to breakfast is a 10 minutes walk up and down hills. The furniture inside the rooms is very old and just not enough. The tv didn’t work. I was not surprised at all. The AC worked well. The beach are is messy and the fact that you had to win a daily lottery to get an umbrella is absurd. I chose the hotel because it has a beach. When I learned the first day that there were not enough umbrellas for the chairs, I would have left if I could. I then never used the beach again. Breakfast is sad.

The rooms are ok, be careful when you book as some rooms don’t have AC, there is no wifi, there is no beach towel included and you need to spend 5 euros every time you need a towel or change it, it is not a deposit. The breakfast is very basic the restaurant serves frozen product and they really don’t know what customer service is. On my last day I had to call the manager because they refused to give me a sun bed. You can’t do anything walking and you will need to rent a car, bare in mind the taxi yo porto cervo is 35 euro each way! The reception are ok as well but when they talk to you, you feel they forced themselves to be nice it is not genuine. The beach is ok but not compare to what you can find around. You need to rent a boat to see the beauty of Sardenia and there is a small pier next to the hotel which is handy. I think for europe this hotel is acceptable if you are not expecting a high standard of service and you are going there only to sleep.

Positive: very friendly staff always willing to help. Our apartment did have airco and our room was daily cleaned and got fresh towels. On the day of check-out, it was no problem to stay a bit longer (noon instead of 10:30) and we were even offered a room to shower and leave luggage in the afternoon (free of charge). Very kind. Improvement possible: our room had a different view than expected (lake view instead of sea view) and we had every evening a musician playing in front of our terras. Some people might like that. I don't. So we had to escape from our room every evening and stay away until 10:30 PM Breakfast: go early because between 10 and 10:30 the kitchen is wrapping up. The hotel is located near another abandoned hotel - the whole area has seen better times, probably before corona . Not convinced that this is a 4-star hotel. After +30 years of travelling, I would rate this more between a 2 and 3 star hotel. (no swimming pool)

I purchased a timeshare for a low occupancy period May/first week June. Structure that has opened but low period, very few attendances, also an area occupied by major renovation works, therefore during weekdays from 8.30-9.00 balls with noise. The structure is certainly dated, but I found my apartment nice and tidy (it was my first access), friendly reception staff, daily cleaning carried out excellently, the structure offers an excellent park with sunbeds and umbrella service included, I think only in this period of low attendance. Part of the structure not accessible due to the works, I will try again next year in a different period and I hope with the works finished, although I doubt

On the occasion of our wedding we reserved apartments for our guests at this residence. Everything went wonderfully. Spotlessly clean apartments, located very close to the center of Porto Cervo which can be easily reached by car in a few minutes. A special thank you to the staff, always punctual and courteous, especially to Maria Rita and Marco who did their utmost at all times to meet our needs. Excellent structure.

For those who don't like to read a lot, I'll give you the conclusion of my review in advance. The hotel is a total failure - I recommend booking anywhere but here. How this hotel got four stars is a mystery to me. The Bagaglino is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in - for the price of €160 per night! Now for the details and the positives first. - The staff are friendly and helpful (if sometimes a little indifferent, especially when there are complaints) - It is possible to communicate with reception via WhatsApp chat, which means questions can be answered quickly. - The location on a small bay would actually be nice, but a car is necessary, as otherwise you are quite isolated. Now for the negative points. - When we arrived we found worn underwear and rubbish from the previous guests (photo) - The cleanliness of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired - The room is only superficially cleaned, rubbish is sometimes not disposed of for days, used dishes are not taken away. - The bathroom is a dark (window was nailed shut - photo) narrow room that can only accommodate one person - The room is in urgent need of renovation and is extremely shabby (photos) - The rooms are as thinly soundproof as a tent, so every sound, even a zipper being closed, can be heard from the surrounding room. This makes restful nights impossible! - The advertised hotel restaurant no longer exists - there is no acceptable restaurant nearby within walking distance. - The advertised fitness room no longer exists either - The advertised spa is a room with a lounger and shower curtain (photo) - The hotel has no pool, the pool shown and visible on Google Maps was demolished and supposedly did not belong to the hotel, although it was in the middle of the complex. - Parts of the hotel were demolished and lie as piles of rubble on the grounds (photo) - The hotel has loungers and umbrellas on the beach, but not enough. So every evening at 6 p.m. there is a raffle to see which room will get which the next day (no joke!). The biggest joke is that next to the hotel loungers, a fancy beach club has been built, which also belongs to the hotel. Here you can rent loungers for at least €300 per day. - Towels for the beach cost €5 each, and you have to pay for them again each time you change them. - The location for breakfast is an unkempt, subsequently glazed pergola, which smells of rodent urine, especially in the front area (rat droppings were found on the windowsill) - Breakfast is a joke - there is only toast. Fruit was only available on 2 out of 7 days, and unfortunately it was not fresh either (photo). In general, breakfast is unloving, sparse and not very hygienic.

After 20 years (I was 15-16 at the time) I returned to Bagalino with my family and my 2 year old son. I remembered Bagaglino as a beautiful village, one of the most beautiful in the area, well maintained, with 20 professional entertainers who welcomed you upon arrival, restaurants and many entertainment activities...good times perhaps! Today the Bagalino, although still a nice basic structure with comfortable apartments, is a dormitory in the process of being completely abandoned... a real shame! Central core under construction as part of it sold to third parties. Non-existent entertainment except for 30 minutes in the evening for the children without any type of entertainment for us parents, in fact it is not possible to get a drink or an ice cream as the bar is always closed except for 2-3 evenings a month (absurd in the month of August) The beach is always very large and beautiful, like few others, but there are only three rows of sunbeds assigned by lot the evening before at 6.30pm so, if you are on an excursion or walking elsewhere and you don't supervise the draw, you lose your turn . However, you are guaranteed two sunbeds and, subject to availability, a small portable umbrella. Catering and bar service on the beach outsourced, not of good quality, always empty and with prices beyond the absurd. The apartments are nice, we had a superior two-room apartment with a large terrace overlooking the sea. Superficial and hasty cleaning, the kitchen is not even considered except for an extra cost. I suggest always storing your personal effects carefully... trusting is good but not trusting is better! 4 days out of 7 we had problems with the air conditioning in the room so much so that we had to manage the system ourselves, learning from the (very kind) technician who was there every day and temporarily fixed the problem. After 4 days they resolved the problem at our insistence. Reception staff are helpful but have a lot to learn! there is a communication system with the reception via whatspp to chat when you need. In conclusion we had a good time because we didn't have many demands and we are active and independent people but the village of 20 years ago is no longer waiting for you!

We stayed from 2nd to 10th July, the structure is a residence of apartments completely surrounded by greenery, with palm trees, flowers and a pond, all very well looked after, one part located near the beach and others a little further away and uphill reachable only on foot and by stairs, a little uncomfortable I would say, but for those who want to train their legs they are perfect... Very spacious and clean apartments, the sofa beds should be replaced as they are uncomfortable and worn, very spacious terrace overlooking the sea, we were in the restaurant area. The beach loungers are assigned every day by drawing at 6.30pm and you must be present otherwise you cannot participate, I find it absurd, also because the beach is very large, but the concession from the municipality is only for three rows.... Breakfast was a bit poor, the bare minimum is certainly not a 4-star hotel and the service also leaves a lot to be desired, lacking professionalism. Upon arrival, the reception staff were welcoming and helpful in providing information on the structure, excursions, etc. On the day of departure, at reception when I was asked if everything had gone well, I pointed out that on the Bagaglino website, it is described as a fun village, with daily entertainment for adults and children (sports, games, tournaments) and evening entertainment ( shows, parties, themed parties, piano bar) Unfortunately none of this exists, as the area where there WAS the theatre, shops, bars, ice cream shop, swimming pool is all disused and abandoned, a real shame. The entertainers and the very friendly and helpful lifeguards, they play the aperitif game on the beach and an hour or so of music for children in the evening, and it all ends here. I advise you to update the description, because this was what there was years ago, when it WAS the most beautiful village in the area, under different management. I'm sorry but I can't give a positive opinion as it didn't meet my expectations and I find it incorrect to describe something for what it isn't. Perfect for those looking for a residence in total tranquility, stop.

We really enjoyed our vacation. The service was great, the breakfast was super delicious and everything else was great. The only thing you should think about is bringing a car because of the location. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

We stayed at this property in August and honestly, given how it is advertised, it is really worthy of complaint. Photographs of shows that were but in reality the shows of that time no longer exist. The structure needs to be taken over almost completely. Wifi is present only at the reception and nothing else. They define the furniture as antique... for us it is old and poorly maintained. The only really positive notes are the entertainment which does an excellent job with the children, entertaining them in the morning with various activities and in the evening with shows created especially for them (we adults had fun with Justdance) to conclude with a very sweet piano bar (the singer really deserves) who says good night to you. Everyone is really nice and kind and never intrusive. And finally the restaurant where in the evening you can eat very well, there is also pizza, too bad the breakfast is a bit so-so but they too are all friendly and helpful! Oh I almost forgot Riccardo the lifeguard made us die laughing!! Go back? ...at €6/700 less perhaps. Never say never
