Stayed in the ziggy cabin , amazing and comfortable . Great views and ambience. Evening meal was very good as was breakfast. Not much to see locally to be fair but soul do more than one night if possible . Room had its its own sound system , turntable and Bowie vinyl collection

What a gem! Beautiful inn / hotel in a lovely location. We booked 3 rooms, which were all fabulous. Stylish and spotlessly clean. Very unique. Food was super too. The staff were all professional and super helpful. We highly recommend. We will be back.

We booked what was described as a "Luxury Double Room" at £200/night. Our room was very small, just enough to walk round the bed. The mattress on the bed has seen better days. The en-suite shower room was OK.
I wouldn't describe this as luxury in any way!
Breakfast was good. The location is peaceful with nice views. The staff were friendly.
Due to the poor value i wouldn't recommend staying here

Went to the Cartford last evening - couldn’t fault it. My mother, a caterer herself, had the duck and said it was the best main course she’d had for many a year. Our son in law had the apricot and cognac tart - it was exceptionally good (I managed to snaffle a mouthful!). Everything else really good including the service. Keep up the great work. Many thanks. Over priced menu not supported by the food which was poor. The service was slow & lacked any personal touch from the staff. 10% gratuity then added to the bill without being asked. Will not be visiting again.

Utter lack of hospitality!!! Arrived with friends - to be told, drinks could only be served to residents - despite the place being empty, including the beer garden. Totally lacking in empathy, warmth or friendliness. Nothing on the website to warn of this. Can't recommend Don't bother

Lovely very well furnished rooms with excellent beds & powerful shower. Friendly staff & excellent food & cocktails. Exceeded expectations for a pub with rooms & will definitely be back when in the area again.

well overpriced luke warm food waitress not interested when we complained neve go again interior scruffy and dirty toilets ordered meat and it was like rubber . the place is sub standard all round
