Astypalea was our first stop on our recent 2 week trip to Greece. Ilias runs a top-notch operation...our 2 bedroom villa (Seabed) was extremely clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Ilias was responsive to any question and quickly delivered a rental car within a few hours after requested. The staff were so friendly and smiling at every turn. Thank you!

Faultless! We were 2 couples stauying in Pearl. The welcome was so freindly and genuine, including being picked up from the airport after a short flight from Athens. The villa was spotless....and then cleaned every day, including clean towels, top up of coffee, toiletries etc. The beds were extremely comfotable, the showers were great and all the furniture was of good quality. Ilias, Aleka and Georgia could not do enough to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Whenever we had questions regarding the villa, the local amenities and the island as a whole, there were there to help. As for Astypalea itself.....fantastic! We hired scooters (all sorted and delivered to the villa by Ilias) and were able to visit many of the beutiful local beaches, including walking down the hill to Livadi. All the beach tavernas seemed to serve great local food and we were never dissapointed in the evening in Livadi itself. The town of Chora is definitely worth a visit, as is the castle. WE also recommend the various boat trips on offer. A great island, not busy (end June to mid July), few non-Greeks and everybody so friendly - the local supermarket guys were very helpful.....and delivered our shopping up the hill!

For dozens of years we have traveled to the most diverse Greek islands. What we found here on Astypalea is in the top ten! The island is small and easily accessible by scooter. Beautiful beaches and wonderful taverns. During our stay at the end of August 2021, mainly Greek tourists were here. The Aegean Sea Villas hotel in Livadia is a dream: wonderful views of the beach and the Chora opposite; the beach can be reached in a few minutes via a staircase; wonderful suite with 2 rooms, living-dining room-kitchen, bathroom, 2 toilets, covered and well-protected terrace, small, private jacuzzi with 2 loungers; perfect service; everything very clean, daily cleaning and replenishment of tea, coffee, sugar, butter, jam, salt, rusks; twice we were presented with an almond braid, once sugar carp, fresh figs and 1 bottle of rosé; private transportation from and to the port; Scooter rental with pickup and handover directly at the hotel; we would love to come back here.

The Villa we stayed in is the Shell. Spacious, well furnished and spotless. The service of the ladies who manage the rooms is excellent, kind, smiling and always available. The manager who manages the structure, Ilias, has always been present and available for every request. Livid is a very nice village, more touristic than Maltezana, the whole island of Astypalea was a nice discovery. I would go there again. Super recommended.
