Travelodge Liverpool Stonedale Park

The room was grim - it was dirty, incredibly small, and the layout of the room made no sense whatsoever (Unpractical is an understatement)! I doubt I will stay at any Travelodge again! The only positives was how easy it was to check in, the location of having multiple food places next door, and parking.

Booked for 2 nights for business but found another hotel for night 2. Hotel has no facilities at all other than a small dim car park which is shared with a pizza place. Room was small and carpets dirty. Worst part was the noise from the main road outside and the windows are usless leading to little sleep. 3 Doors down it looked as though a room had been crowbarred open. Very rough hotel this place.

Lovely Travelodge, friendly staff. Our room was clean & the rest if the public areas were clean. Downside as it was on a retail park the bin men came at 4.40 a.m. on Mon morning &also early on Tue. Frid night & Sat never heard them. You have Fast food places to on the retail park. Nandos, Dominoes, KFC & McDonald's ( although would NOT reccomend that McDonald's) also Showcase cinema and Buzz Bingo, plus a few shops 7 min walk Viking Landing pub which does food and Carvery. We can reccomend that. Buses ( number19)from outside take you straight into Liverpool bus station, buses go very frequently.

The staff were amazing however the noise from outside the hotel was awful we barely slept the whole weekend

From the moment I walked in the room it was damp musky smell, I had to open the window. I arrived late at the hotel and it was only for one night I just needed a shower and somewhere to sleep but even this was pushing it. The carpet was stain by from what looks like tea/coffee being spilt and not cleaned up, just left there. Lots of noise from outside from deliveries, people standing by the bins smoking and chatting away. Like I said I arrived late and you wouldn't expect this much noise. Parking is limited and the spaces are small. Breakfast is a grab and go breakfast, you don't have the option to eat there. But there is Starbuck, McDonalds and a breakfast cafe just outside the hotel. Note, there are no hair dryers in the rooms, but you can request them. The shower gel and shampoo is on the outside of the shower next to the sink and the handwash is in the shower. The Shower only have a fabric curtain which I think contributes to the damp smell in the rooms.
