Liverpool Gateway Inn

The Accommodation is great value. The location is perfect with retail and food outlets nearby. Transport in and out the city is easy as there are bus stops nearby and also Taxi rides are quick and cheap. I Stayed for two nights with a group of friends. The Communal area was perfect for our friends to meet and socialise before heading out. The Room was very spacious and clean. The Shower facilities were ideal. The car park is very secure and staff were friendly. I’d highly recommend this place as it has everything you need for a city break.

Wasn't expecting how lovely this little place was. Immaculate and comfy beds. Wasnt much for the shared bathroom part BUT when i went to have look, Shower was immaculate. I was quite happy to shower. The staff were really pleasant and helpful 10/10. Thank you.

Budget room, excellent price during a busy period in Liverpool. The room was Clean and tidy with friendly staff. Bonus of a secure car park. No complaints you get what you pay for no thrills but clean and tidy. Shared bathroom facilities but we knew this when we booked.

This guest house is Ok but not for everyone. It sits on a very busy intersection of a main road and therefore the front rooms are a little noisy except for those that have been triple glazed. The towel in my room was a very old hand towel although I did notice nicer towels in other rooms. This place is OK but the communal areas really need to be redone. Staff are friendly and helpful, the place feels safe as they have CCTV up everywhere and there is plenty of parking available behind an electric gate. Fast food nearby (24hr McDonalds) + KFC as well as a TESCO supermarket 10mins walk from the place. Train station with frequent trains into central Liverpool GBP3.60 return (7Mins).

Excellent, Trouble Free experience, Friendly Staff . I highly recommend Gateway Inn in Liverpool. Visit to The Beatles museums , Goodison Park, Anfield and even Manchester is no problem at all. Few busses run in the area connecting the hotel with downtown Liverpool and other locations.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the beds were amazingly comfortable. There was a kitchen with the possibility to do simple dishes, it was quiet and no disturbances. A tad off the grid but it was only a short drive with a taxi downtown.

My one night stay was very pleasant, the presence of a staff member 24/7 was reassuring and the facilities were clean and tidy. Really nothing to fault - my only suggestion would be a thicker bottom sheet on the bed as it was thin and the rubber mattress below felt cold during the night.

Great value, perfect location - retail and food outlets nearby with good transport routes into the city. Stayed for two nights with my son for an event at the Exhibition Centre. Was concerned about sharing communal toilets and shower but in reality it was fine. Our room was on the corner next to a busy junction but no problems sleeping. Room was spacious and clean, car park secure and staff were friendly. All you need. Would recommend.
