We booked two rooms, very spacious, free parking, food is great there. Definitely we will stay again.

A great location for cardiff metropolitan university. Rooms are surprisingly quiet given that they're above a pub.

Fantastic service , the staff were great and looked after us very well. We really enjoyed our stay and the room was exceptionally comfortable for the money we paid. Especially as there was a big gig at the principality stadium and many places hike the prices up. Coffee and tea facilities in the room is really good plus a lovely comfortable bed and a very clean room. The breakfast was delicious. We also are burger and chips and had a couple of drinks which were good . Overall I enjoyed my one night stay and would definitely go back .

We went as a family for the cabaret night. The entertainment provided by Chris was first rate, singing many well known songs from the shows.He has a great voice worthy of the West End, delivering the songs in a funny and entertaining way. The food provided was excellent and the service by the staff, headed by Ben, was first rate. Many thanks to Chris and the team for a fabulous night of entertainment, food and drink. Looking forward to the next event

Be aware! We walked into our room "Millennium" the bed was very large but had a huge dip in the middle. Sat on the edge of the bed and felt all the way down to the bed base. Going back to reception we voiced our concern. We were given another room up stairs "Bute" The mattress was fine. Reading a review that dates back to December 2023 it also talks about the useby date of a mattress. This mattress has been disabled for a very long time. People book with wanting a clean and comfortable nights sleep to tackle what ever the next day brings. I just don't understand the integrity of the Maltsters Arms in allowing such a bed like this to remain. The staff seemed frazzled, the young girl did a good job to solve the issue. I would suggest if able to inspect your room before making payment.

Great friendly service from Sarah and Chris as usual really friendly and excellent ale Chilled atmosphere and service was really good As usual the ale was excellent. Surrounding clean and comfortable I am also looking furws5d to their next cabaret evening we have now attended two of these events and Chris is an excellent singer and mine host

Wonderful stay at the Maltsters in Llandaff. Exceptional service from Ben! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was also great. Along with a wide selection of drinks! The room was warm and welcoming, and I immediately felt at home. Overall, amazing experience!!!
