Pros- Hotel has a great pool Location is good, close by to amenities Food is varied Gail on reception is fab! Animation team are amazing and always something going on The rooms have a good layout. Pool snack bar is fab Nighttime entertainment is good. Cons: Our room wasn’t clean when we arrived, there was food in the cupboard when we arrived. Every daily the sausages at breakfast were still raw There was an over 100 teenagers arrive during our holiday which made meal times awful. They would push people out the way and were rude. The park is quite small compared to pictures. Mini disco and evening entertainment didn’t link up.. this would be good if it did. Overall, we did like this hotel. Some minor issues which could easily be resolved.

We recently stayed here with our 3 children (ages 8, 6 and 4) for 7 nights, all inclusive. We were given what appeared to be a brand new room. The room was absolutely immaculate, it was beautiful. The bathroom was stunning, it had a huge round, backlit mirror above the sink and a large double headed shower. There was also a decent hairdryer provided (those with long, thick hair will understand the struggle), I almost brought my own but glad I didn’t as the hairdryer provided was great. The beds were comfy, I am fussy about hotel beds but these were brand new memory foam mattresses with lovely long, soft pillows. My only criticism of the beds was that our double was 2 singles pushed together. Extra pillows were also provided which is a bonus point in my opinion. The room also had a huge TV but we didn’t watch it, from a quick flick through most of the channels were Spanish anyway. There was also ample storage in the room, it was air conditioned and there was a safe provided free of charge. Even the corridor leading up to our room was nice! The housekeeping service was fantastic. Our room was immaculate for the duration of our stay. Our sheets were changed daily, towels were replaced daily and our bathroom was cleaned daily. Our housekeeper was lovely and spoke really good English too. The pool & facilities are also fantastic. There are around 6 slides that under 12s can use throughout the day. There are 3 large swimming pools and a separate baby splash pool. Sun-lounger availability was the best of any hotel I have ever been to. There were plenty of beds, parasols and tables available no matter the time of day. The pool area was well maintained by a member of staff who walked round and collected rubbish all day. There was a pool bar, service was a little slow here and you did have to specifically ask for the all inclusive ice cream which was kept behind the bar. As well as the pool facilities, there’s also a kids club (we didn’t use so I can’t review), an arcade and a play park which our kids enjoyed. There are always 2 security staff stood outside the front of the hotel which I liked. Most of the staff are great, some only speak very limited English but that wasn’t a problem for us most of the time. We found the entertainment schedule a little odd. The nighttime show doesn’t start until 9:30 and usually runs for about 1 hour. The show is average but what we found strange was that the kids disco is at 6pm, so there is a 2.5 hour gap between the kids disco finishing and the main show starting. We didn’t actually think there was a kids disco as it’s not advertised anywhere, we found out by accident from a Facebook group about halfway through our stay! In the room where the entertainment takes place are 4 huge pillars meaning that if you’re not sat directly in front of the stage, you have to watch the show on a monitor hanging from the ceiling, far from ideal. Once the show has finished, there’s no other music/ disco, it’s pretty much everyone

We returned yesterday from our weeks holiday and the hotel was fantastic; everywhere was immaculately clean (the reception, hotel grounds, pool areas and rooms cleaned daily). The kids club was great and my daughter aged 8 asked to go in most days, the staff were fantastic with her and she loved all the arts/crafts. The restaurant was always well stocked , once food was empty it was soon refilled and we found there to be a good choice each day for all 3 meal services. We did go to the restaurant as soon as it opened as it was much quieter then. The pool areas are brilliant, there were always plenty of sun beds available even in the afternoon so no queuing or getting up early to reserve beds which was great. The only thing I would say is we found the pools to be absolutely freezing, after being in for 20 minutes or so we were dithering so had to get out for a warm in the sun; hopefully as the summer progresses the water will warm up but the pools are definitely not heated. We always went out at night so didn’t bother with the entertainment so can’t comment, my children are too old for the mini disco (aged 8 and 12) so we didn’t go to that but it was on early. The location is around a ten minute walk to Fennels beach which is pebbles but still beautiful and around a 15 minute walk to Lloret town which is more lively with shops, bars, arcades etc. We had a fabulous holidays and would highly recommend this hotel to families. We had a private transfer from Girona airport which took around 25 minutes so only a short taxi ride 😀 Waterworld water park is a five minute taxi ride from the hotel and is brilliant, it was our favourite day of the holiday! We went on a mid-week day so hardly any queues and not too busy.

The hotel is bad, it’s clean but there is no entertainment when they claim there will be. The food is always the same and if you have picky eaters it’s a waste of time buying all inclusive as all they’ll be eating is chips. And even those can be bad some days. Today I got into my hotel room my bag was moved and 20 euros had gone missing from the purse element and the fire door window was open which we never open after the cleaner had been. Looked high and low for this missing 20 euros and was nowhere to be seen. It’s useless going to reception as none of them understand what you are saying and the bar staff are rude and ignorant, the snack bar closes when it claims it’ll be open. Most the food is always cold. The rooms are outdated and the Spanish people are rude and barg into you as you’re going around in the buffet getting your food, this caused me a burn on my finger. All the staff speak fluent Spanish and jet2 rep is useless as they can barely give any good information. They tell off the English kids for doing something wrong but don’t tell the Spanish kids at the pool who are sitting and climbing up the water slides. Also tried telling my 14 year old son he couldn’t go on the slide, it doesn’t state there’s an age limit in the website for the few slides that they do have. It’s like they make rules up as they go.

Just (today!) back from a week's stay at the Encantada, and thoroughly enjoyed it! The hotel; clean throughout, each floor/room easily accessible via stairs or lifts, restaurant and bar both a good-size and, again, clean... The rooms; the room we had was a good-size, clean throughout, plenty of space, plenty of wardrobe/storage for us (2A, 1C), balcony with view over the pool and towards the town, sea/distance. The food; when we arrived, someone who had been there warned us "the food is poor" and they'd eaten out for 3 nights of their stay. Well, we found it quite the opposite. Good choice and variation, and our three year old child ate every single evening without fuss. Breakfast or tea, we all filled plates of good food that we demolished! Absolutely zero complaints about any of the food. The pools; good sized pools, kids pool has a choice of small, medium and large slides. Other pools are used for general swimming or pool games such as water volleyball or polo. Be warned, even in the sun, they're cold! Location; good location, out away from the main rowdy stretch, but close enough to walk to the town centre (15 mins tops), the beach (10 mins). Plenty of stores, shops, restaurants, cafes, beach huts with ice creams all in a short walking distance. The beach; the main beach you get to in Lloret is a stoney/shingly beach, though is spotlessly clean and well worth a visit. Don't get mixed up with the nearby naturist beach mind! There are nearby walks along the promenade and up around both hillsides and castle - well worth a look up, but be prepared for the steps up and down! Overall, we loved our holiday - albeit it fell on a week of freakish weather and had two days of rain. Didn't put us off though, still got out and about and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely go back again! The Davis Family.

Fabulous hotel, great outside and inside area. Lots of attractions for kids. Clean and beautiful rooms. Price definitely meets the quality of the service and accommodations. Enjoyed staying there with the whole family. Friendly personnel and great variety of food options.

We have just returned from our holiday. 2 adults and 3 kids. Fab holiday. Food was very good. Had a good selection. We had fussy eaters and they all found something to eat at each meal time. We went all inclusive so if they got hungry between meal times they could get something from the pool side bar. Which normally had chips, skewers and pizza with a selection of other bits. We had the suite. It was lovely. Cleaned every day. Pool area was kept well cleaned. Lifeguards were always vigilant. Quick whistle and finger wag if someone was doing something wrong. Receptionists were very helpful one in particular Freddy. If you needed to go any where or advice he was always willing to help with a smile. Nothing was a problem to him. Waiters were the same if you asked for some fruit or something that wasn't out at meal times for a child they would get it for you. No problem. Night time entertainment was great. Kids enjoyed it. One recommendation here is it could start a little earlier for kids. Parents would organise themselves to be down earlier if it was and smaller kids could be in bed earlier. The shows were great. Mine didn't want to miss it so we went every night. Animation team were good to keep kids busy in the day. Overall a great holiday. We would return. Ages of children were 8, 7 and 5. They loved the slides and pool.
