Torbeckhill B&B

I stayed here whilst on a cycling holiday and couldn't have wanted better. The welcome was wonderful and Gordon and Yvonne were so accommodating and welcome. I was able to store my bike securely and reheat my dinner. The views were amazing and the walk up the road was incredible. A wonderful breakfast set me up nicely for a long day of riding

From the moment I arrived at Torbeckhill I was made welcome - with a pot of tea and biscuits - and the same thing happened each day when I returned. Yvonne and Gordon make the most wonderful hosts and the setting is beautiful, with views south as far as the Lake District and even on a good day across to the Isle of Man! The bed was so comfortable, the private bathroom had everything you could need and you even have use of a very comfortable resident's lounge as well as an outdoor terrace to relax. This was all complemented by a wonderful breakfast with a wide ranging choice to suit anyone.

Another wonderful visit to Torbeckhill on our way to Skye.Since first finding this b and b in 2018 we have made it our stopover of choice both travelling up to the Highlands and back againThis is the 7th occasion that we have spent at this amazing B and B and I can’t praise it highly enough. Yvonne and Gordon are warm and friendly hosts that do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is quiet and peaceful.The rooms are spotlessly clean,with comfortable beds.There is a comfortable lounge with glorious views to relax in with a welcoming cup of tea on arrival.The evening meals and breakfasts are amazing with plenty of choice,well cooked and you would never come away from the table wanting more. We always look forward to staying here and it always makes a great start to our holiday.

Gordon and Yvonne gave us a very warm welcome. We only stayed one night but they looked after us throughout our stay. We had the use of the lounge in the evening and they recommended somewhere for dinner. While we had the room with the private bathroom, it was just across the hallway and we didn't miss having an en suite. The bed was particularly comfortable and the quiet location on the edge of woodland meant we slept well.

A brilliant B&B that really couldn't be faulted. From the lovely warm welcome to the beautiful facilities and gorgeous breakfast this was a super place to stay. Yvonne and Gordon are great hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend .
