A good stay. The wheelchair-friendly room was quiet, but it had issues: Design: slippery bathtub with no anti slip mat, a long room with no natural light in the seating area, and bathroom doors intended for wheelchair users that have previously locked guests in the bathroom. Maintenance: blown light bulbs in the fridge and microwave. There is a small gap between the sliding windows allowing a little road noise. Also, the windows cannot be locked. Accident: on our first night, lightning struck the hotel! It took out one elevator, the Wi-Fi on our floor, and apparently some other equipment. Not the fault of the hotel but it did change our experience! The team did the best they could. Apparently, the hotel was built in 2008 and will be renovated in 2025. As part of the renovation, hotel management should assess whether it needs to install a lightning rod to reduce the damage from future lightning strikes. And to choose nonslip bathtubs.
