The Anniversary Inn - Logan

Super cool rooms!

SO DISSAPPOINTING!!! We have stayed at the Anniversary Inn in SLC, UT, but this was our 1st time in Logan. We stayed in "Aphrodites Court" and WILL NOT BE RETURNING. Website stated it was a "King Bed" room...it was a Queen. There was a 10 INCH STEP down into the bathroom, creating a very dangerous "middle of the night" trip to the bathroom...the BREAKFAST WAS THE WORST!!! I have had better Continental Breakfasts!!! And it certainly did not meet the $300 (after taxes/fees) ROOM RATE!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!

e have been going to the anniversary Inn for years and really enjoyed it in the past. However this year it has changed so much. You pay so much for the rooms and they are cool but the soda in the machine was flat. The breakfast is not the same at all. They didn't bring us ice when we asked. The popcorn was 15 minutes late and the breakfast was 15 minutes early. They used to serve breakfast on real plates now it's half the size and all plastic. They forgot the butter and jam for my biscuits and they no longer have flavored creamer. The eggs seem like the powder eggs you get from a contiinental breakfast. Very disappointing.

TL;DR: We enjoyed our stay at the Southern Comfort room and would come here again to try the other rooms out. 8/10 My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and we had been to the Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake City before, so we wanted to see if there were other inns and what other rooms they might offer. My husband likes to surprise me with what's in the room, so he only told me to pick from a list of names and I chose the Southern Comfort (being that I'm from the south). Check-in was pretty simple, but this Anniversary Inn is structured differently than the SLC one. The SLC one is just one building with all the rooms inside, where as this one is multiple buildings that would differ depending on your room. For the one that we had chosen, we had to drive to a nearby, but separate parking lot that might've not been as clearly labeled as it should've been. We did take a picture of the map though at the front desk, which helped. With out room choice, it set us on the third floor with an outdoor staircase. The stairs weren't bad for us, especially since we travelled light, but if you have heavy luggage or struggle to get upstairs, we didn't see any elevator access. The room itself was amazing and actually quite bigger than the one we previously stayed at (The Meadow at SLC). It was appropriately themed (more for New Orleans south, but that's not a bad thing) and even had some entertainment activities. There was nice couples seating in quite a few places were we could eat or watch movies. We did ask if they had a bluray player in the room and they said yes, so we brought our own movie from home to watch. They do offer some movies at the check-inn building, but I recommend bringing your own. Though, just like the other place we stayed at, it has a fridge, but no microwave. That's really the only thing missing from these rooms. They do offer hot breakfast items, but it's nice being able to microwave leftovers as well. The breakfast was good though, albeit too small for my husband to be filled. The shower and tub in the room were great. The shower was walk-in and deep, even having a place to sit. The shower really needs some hand rails or non-slip mats though, because it is very slippery inside, both of us almost falling, including the sitting area. Towels can help, but if you aren't stable on your feet this could be hazardous. The tub was able to fit both of us and be quite deep. It's a little tricky to get into, but it has many features that were fun to use and relaxing. If you're short though, this tub doesn't have a great way to keep you upright without sliding further into the water. My husband is tall though and enjoyed the extra length for his legs. I won't post pictures of the room so they can be a surprise to others like how I was surprised, but this one we feel is just a little bit better than the Anniversary Inn in SLC, but only in some ways. Both are still good though and we'd recommend either of them!

** Do not stay here!!** First of all, let me begin by saying I'm not the type of person who writes negative reviews unless they are warranted. The following is the email I sent to the innkeeper about our experience: "Recently my wife and I stayed at the Anniversary Inn (Logan, Hawaiian room) to celebrate our anniversary. Our experience was a little lackluster, and I wanted to reach out to talk to you about it. We left a message with the front office staff to have you contact us, but so far, we haven't heard anything. We stayed one night from 06/07/2024 to 06/08/2024. Because it was our anniversary, we decided to splurge and pay for some of the upgrades on top of the $279 base rate (not cheap!). We paid for early check-in and arrived shortly after 3 pm. The office staff did not know if our room was ready and made us wait while they physically walked over to inspect it. We also paid $40 for the date night upgrade. The staff told us to choose our items from the adjoining room, and we scheduled a time for popcorn delivery. To their credit, the staff delivered the popcorn on time. We were disappointed with the quality of this upgrade for $40, as it appeared to be a single bag of microwave popcorn dumped into an aftermarket popcorn bucket. As for the items, we selected a bath bomb (fairly good quality... 5$ value max.) Two boxes of candy, (these were the same kind found at the dollar store), and two diet cokes (both of which we later discovered were flat and expired...by the way, check the rest of your fridge). When we arrived at the room, the decor was pleasant, but there were some other issues with the room. The light above the bed had a flickering lightbulb (the bulb on the side closest to the door) that turned on and off the entire time. Also, the chain for the ceiling fan was missing, making it inoperable. When we walked into the bathroom area, we discovered a bottle of chemical cleaner that had been left on the counter by the sink and a used bar of soap in the shower which had not been discarded. As a side note, the shower design is terrible and leaks water all over the floor. Also, the wand/showerhead attachment did not work. On the wall, there was only one robe. We tried to call the front desk three times to let them know to come pick up the cleaner and to notify them about the robe so they didn't think we took it. No one ever answered so I walked the cleaner back to the front desk myself and told them about the robe. Finally, as I'm sure you are aware when morning rolled around, we did not get any breakfast. After waiting 30 minutes past our scheduled delivery time (and attempting to fruitlessly call again), I walked to the front desk where I was told the entire kitchen staff had walked out. I was told arrangements were being made to work on the breakfast problem but it would be sometime before anything would be prepared. We had other plans and had scheduled our breakfast so that we could eat and check out shortly after. We ended up check

The room was a bit thrown together and needs some matence. Staff was awesome.

Theme rooms are fun. Property is a complex of about 5 buildings. Breakfast is small, but good. Hot water never worked on the sink. Parking lot for lower level is miserable, with a curb that you have to drive over to get into the lot. Most restaurants in Logan,UT are closed on Sunday.
