Gili Amor Boutique Resort Reviews

Location is good, thats why i chose this hotel. Its not on the main street. But Im solo guy so this is best for me. Near to jetty and near to one and only night market and main night life area and all cafes. Hotel offers bikes rental and day trips with reasonable price. Its good enough for solo or couple who would go for diving for few days on the island. If u r in gili for more than 2 days, I’d suggest u go north to explore better hotels and different experiences on the island or meno or air would be for you. Very near to the beach for sun rise as well. Bfast is superb and other meals as well. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Pool is normal but they managed to use for the available space for it. Close to local mosque but they do provide some kinda ear plugs for that. But its just few mins during the day. Highly recommended. You cant expect very good hotels on the island with less crowded crowd and this is good enough for few days esp when its close to the jetty to leave.

The hotel is location one block from ocean. (5minute walk to pier). Gili at is a noisy island with parties going until the early hours of the morning. We couldn’t hear any of it from the hotel however every morning at 4am the mosque their service for an hour (or longer) which is VERY loud and makes it hard to sleep through the night. The hotel does provide ear plugs for this which is nice. The rooms NEVER got cleaned. Towels were not replaced and bed sheets changed. The bar has a decent happy hour but the drinks are not strong at all. Often tasting like non alcoholic drinks. Wifi is not very good. Unless it’s very late. No hairdryers or anything extra like this. Only toothbrush and toothpaste. (Which we’re not replaced) we ended up buying our own toothpaste. The hotel staff are VERY friendly though. Which was lovely. The hotel offers tours and trips etc for a decent price as well as speedy laundry service. The meals are pretty decent , the included breakfast is not amazing but it’s okay. If you’re only here for a day or 2 then it’s really not a bad hotel.

Toilet smelled

Nice place, excellent location, everything you need is nearby, very clean, the only thing is, since the hotel is located close to party places, people returning from parties can wake you up at night)) but it didn’t bother me. And the breakfasts are very tasty!

This is a place I will definitely go back to when I go to Gili. The location and pool are both great, and the people are so nice.

This place is a hidden gem offering well appointed extremely clean rooms. The pool, restaurant and resort areas are also clean and well maintained. The breakfast was incredible as were the meals and cocktails. 1 Street back from the beach right in the heart of the action it was a very quiet place to sleep. The staff went above and beyond to help and were so friendly. Salt water pool was a bonus.

This cute little back of the alley Restaurant was very good margaritas excellent. Food and service friendly and quick and the price was right.. walking by. I was just planning to use the washroom but it was clean and the stuff was so nice that I thought I’d try it. Not disappointed. I will return

Worst management EVER! 2 days pool is under maintenance.... my kids couldn't get into the pool...! I asked for compensation... manager reacted very arrogant..no compensation allowed! I dont recommend this place! Been here already 3 times before, thats how they threat regular guests

The room was superclean! They put clean sheets on the bed everyday if you leave the sign outside for make up room. Also clean towels and waterbottels!! And the airco was better that we had anywhere else :) The food in the restaurant was above average! It was amazing 😋 try the chicken burger or just the breaded chicken 😍 The people are so nice here. It was by bf bday yesterday and they went out of their way to fix a birthdaycake the evening before! They even sang for him and made a special spot next to the pool at dinner for us❤️ with a special dinner menu!! it was so special and so sweet that they made this happen for him. We had the best time here! We will come back here for sure!

A beautiful hotel to stay at. The location of the hotel is brilliant, it’s just walking distance from the ferry port. The rooms are decently sized and the bathroom is also big enough. Having balconies in each room is a very nice gesture from the hotel and gives a good view of the sky changing colours as the sun goes down. In terms of the food, for breakfast there are only a couple of options for vegetarians one of which is just a bowl seeds with fruits & another being wraps without the eggs option. Hope they add a few more vegetarian options to their breakfast menu. Did not have any of the other meals at the resort so cannot comment on that. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, highly recommended to stay at this resort while in Gili Trawangan.

We had drinks and dinner and the staff really helped us! The drinks were amazing and happy hour makes it cheap ;) loved the atmosphere and the moijto and the snacks were amzing! And free popcorn the whole night :)

Our 3 days of summer vacation were so nice spent at the Gili Amor Boutique Resort. They gave us all the advice we needed regarding yoga classes, massages and, courses, even on the wonderful journey to discover marine treasures such as turtles and colorful fish near corals. They give you also the chances to rent bicycles. Every time they were so kind. The breakfast was good and complete. You have a menu with different types of choices, local and continental. Rooms are near the pool and the furniture remarks the Indonesian style. The last but not the least, the hotel is based near the port, it takes really 3 minutes by walk. Really convenient.

I spent a month in Indonesia! And the week in Gili T in this resort was the best. Thank you for your close attention, the breakfast is delicious, the rooms are always very clean. I would come back again to this hotel. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Staff are amazing! In a great location close to the port, shops and lots of restaurants. Really nice pool and big, comfy rooms. Food at the restaurant was fab and I really enjoyed my breakfast every morning. Will definitely be back!
