Premier Inn London Docklands (Canning Town)

Hotel very convenient for my purposes but the room could have been cleaner, the bathroom drain in the accessible room I was allocated, was useless, despite having the curtain in place whilst showering, the whole of the bathroom floor from entry way to rear and side walls were absolutely sodden. The mirror in the dressing area, had either crayon or greasy lipstick marks scrawled all over it from top to bottom. Not enough front of house staff were on duty, there were 2 reception staff and one waitress on the evening of my stay, who were trying to check me in, take restaurant orders, make drinks at the bar and deliver food. The food was good, tasty and value for money. I cannot blame the staff, they were very friendly, and did their utmost, but were on a hiding to nothing, there were not enough of them.

Room seemed smaller than other Premier Inns I've stayed at. Pretty clean. Room a bit tatty in places. Warm and comfortable and quiet which was great. Probably company policy now as you have to pay another £10 to check in early, but no one was allowed to check in until 3 on the dot. Really hard to time it right if you are travelling a long way to get there and we were an hour early. As everyone made to wait there was then a bottle neck. The self serve kiosks did not work either. Although it didn't affect us, at least three other parties' rooms were not even ready at 3 which isn't good enough. Breakfast was meagre unfortunately. Prepaid for continental breakfast and not much left or replenished. We were not even that late, we went at 9. Disappointing. I had to clear a table to sit down and hardly any staff around. Very handy for the underground and DLR. Easy to get to Abba Voyage and Westfield Stratford. Not many other eateries close by, only McDonalds.

Lovely clean generic rooms as expected from premier inn This seems to be a newly built hotel and is in an excellent location for the O2 and Stratford shopping Ensure you have a room at front of hotel as the rear rooms are very close to the underground and DLR shower basin is plastic and very slippery when stepping out

We stay here before and came back as the customer service delivered was outstanding before by Cynthia and this time we had the same from Frankie her son, who was on Reception.We had contact with him before prior to our booking before we attended as we requested to be located on the top floor,this was put in place for us.We also had a good view. Frankie was well mannered so down to earth, friendly young man and really made us feel welcome, you could see how passionate he is about he's job and not with just us but how he was with other customers it was nice to see true customer service delivered as this is not reflected at times, Frankie thank you for making our stay great, we will be back never change who you are and to the bosses at Premier Inn, Frankie is an asset to your company we hope you see that. We were also very happy with our room, so comfortable and we always have a decent sleep at Premier Inn.Its our favourite Premier Inn Hotel, which we do recommend as its nice and quiet but a great location and not far from the 02.The Hotel and rooms are always clean throughout and fresh, the housekeepers do a great job, thank you to their excellent service and also to the Chef as the breakfast was very nice.We had no issues and really enjoy our stay and that is not just down to the hotel but to Frankie who is amazing.
