The room we bought from Trip.com was 20-22 m2 and we were placed in a different room than the visuals. The first room was 10 m2 and quite small and gloomy, we requested a change because the air conditioner was broken. Thereupon, we were transferred to a similar room again. This room was nothing like the room we bought, moreover, the phone was not working, we could not call the reception for our needs. We had to leave the room and go down to the reception by taking the elevator to meet our needs. Therefore, although we requested the hotel staff to move us to the room we paid for and bought, we conveyed the issue to Trip.com customer support when we saw that they did not do anything to solve it. They were convinced that we were right when we sent the room visuals and reservation information. They realized that the accommodation we bought did not match the room we found at the hotel. They said they would talk to the hotel and solve it. We forwarded our upgrade request. However, the hotel said that there were no rooms for upgrade during our stay and forced us to stay in a lower quality room. In addition, although a 10% discount is shown on the information and advertising banners that appear when making a reservation on Trip.com accommodation purchase screens, we saw that the discounts were not reflected when making the payment and when we applied to the customer support panel with screenshots, we unfortunately learned from the response we received that these reservation and hotel information screens and discount banners were not correct. We learned from customer support that it was misleading information after spending a long time. I have decided not to prefer Hilton London Olympia hotel and Tirip.com operator in our future travels.
