Holiday Inn LONDON - HEATHROW BATH ROAD by IHG

This hotel totally exceeded all expectations!! If anyone is considering staying near the airport, do yourself a favor and book this place without hesitation!! We were traveling back to the UK with the kids, and since our flight the next day was quite early, we decided to book this hotel for our last night. Honestly, I went in with zero expectations, just viewing it as a standard chain hotel. But the moment we checked in, we were touched and pleasantly surprised. Anurag Bi**** and Richard at the front desk were absolute sweethearts—they gave drinks to the kids and even treated me to a glass of white wine. It was our 17th year away from the UK, and at the very end of this homecoming trip, this experience filled us with so much warmth and pleasant surprise. Because I was in a rush, I arrived late at night and forgot to take photos of the room. But as someone who is extremely picky about hotels, I must say the hardware here is fantastic—clean, tidy, and though the room isn't huge, it offers incredible value for money given the price!!

The hotel is not far from the airport, just a few minutes by bus, which is very convenient. The room isn't huge; once the sofa bed is pulled out, it pretty much fills the space, but you can still open three suitcases. The shower has great water pressure, which is nice. Breakfast is decent and quite varied, enough to fill you up. The air conditioning is very strong.

This is, without a doubt, the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in terms of service. Their attitude was truly awful. I just wanted to store my luggage, and they told me it wasn't allowed, citing some law or regulation that luggage couldn't be stored overnight. I asked the front desk to show me this 'law or regulation,' but they couldn't produce anything. Then they called the manager, who had an even worse attitude, mumbling something about it being 'hotel policy.' What kind of nonsense is that?

The room was pretty good, and it even had air conditioning, which was a lifesaver since Germany was so hot this year. The hotel's location is also excellent, close to both dining and attractions. A good experience overall.

My overall experience staying at the Holiday Inn this time was excellent. The hotel environment was quiet and comfortable; I wasn't disturbed by outside noise while resting at night, so I had great quality sleep. The room was more spacious than expected, with plenty of room for luggage and moving around. The room itself was very neat and clean, and the bedding was comfortable, making me feel at ease. One thing I particularly liked was the excellent water pressure in the bathroom. Both the faucet and shower head had very smooth and strong water flow, yet they were quiet when in use – no loud pipe noises. It was very comfortable for bathing and showering. Overall, this is a quiet, comfortable, clean hotel with spacious rooms and practical facilities. My stay was very satisfying. I would consider staying here again if I'm in the area next time.

The room was nice, and it was convenient for a layover stay. I strongly advise against taking a black cab to Holiday Inn LONDON - HEATHROW BATH ROAD by IHG! The driver's attitude, well, those who have been to London can imagine. He was slamming doors, speeding, and drifting, which felt very dangerous!!! Either use Uber or a shuttle service; definitely avoid black cabs!!!!!!
