I adore this hotel so much I almost want to keep it a secret! It is stylish yet homely, sophisticated yet small enough to feel personal, friendly staff and great customer service. Wonderful food and gorgeous attention to detail. The beds are exceptionally comfortable with beautiful linens. The location is so central -walking distance to my fav Marylebone High Street but with a choice of two tube stops for the underground and positioned across the road from Marylebone train station. Can’t wait to stay here again. It was perfection.

Tried this hotel a couple of times. Think I've given it fair chances. Just about every room I've tried had a substantial downside to it. One room you can't turn around in the shower cabin because it's ridiculously small. Another room is underground in the basement. The last one had two windows facing a wall with a massive electrical unit in front. None of this transpires from the cutely decorated rooms shown on the website. Breakfast seems to be a challenge in itself. Ordered poached eggs that came hard boiled. First tray missing salt and pepper. Another was missing the cutlery altogether. Surely simple checklist to ensure trays are complete isn't that complicated. Reception staff unwilling to help whether it's for simple taxi requests or others. Working in the service industry I know first hand that when you want to help you find a way of helping your customers.

We really couldn’t praise the hotel staff enough for giving us the wedding we dreamed of . From the very start through all stages of planning Luca was available for any questions we had , Andreas & Guilia too were exceptional . My daughter & her husbands day went exactly as planned , the food was incredible the service too .we stayed in the hotel for a couple of days & could not fault anything ,it has a lovely feel to it with everyone being so welcoming & Marleybone is a lovely area to stay & not far from main tourist areas . We will definitely be back ❤️

Beautiful hotel with everything you could need/ want right on the doorstep, the room was very spacious and absolutely gorgeous with the comfiest bed. All the staff were so lovely and super helpful. Theres a lovely garden opposite that hotel guests can use which was just so peaceful and a lovely place away from the hustle and bustle of London streets. We held our wedding reception in the potting shed ( hotel restaurant) and it was everything we dreamed off and more. Food was incredible and the whole day was just amazing. We already can’t wait to come back!!

This is my favorite hotel in London. The location is great, staff are super friendly and rooms are well designed and equipped . The only downside is that the rooms are small and some of the ‘larger’ ones are quite dark. The Dorset Square hotel feels old fashioned and quaint. A refreshing change from many of the large chain hotels.

Very nice cozy hotel. Felt very comfortable with very clean facilities and outstanding service. I had a visit to London Business School and this hotel was in the perfect spot to reach to the business school walking. Coming back in future for sure. One thing to note that don’t expect a lobby or big rooms .. this is a different type of hotel where it’s more of feeling like home hotel. To be honest, I liked it this way as it was matching my purpose of this trip. Also I wish there was a very small dest at the room but it was not a deal breaker for me still coming back for this hotel. Thank you for the comfortable stay!

The staff at the front desk was lovely yet professional. They offered information about the area before we had a change to ask! They also offered help in securing transportation when we checked out and to store our luggage for a few hours before and after our stay there. Everything about our room was outstanding; the stunning decor, the comfortable bed and pillows and the beautiful bathroom. The Potting Shed restaurant/bar was also wonderful- good food and drinks and a fun staff (especially behind the bar). The Drawing Room was perfect for winding down the evening - we were there every evening. And again, with beautiful decor. We hope to return for another wonderful holiday.

We arrived Friday around 4 and were given room 1 which is in the basement 👎 As we went down the stairs there seemed to be a staff meeting taking place in the corridor, I appreciate that it’s great to get your staff together but it seemed to carry on for a while and we could hear it from our room. Being the basement room if you like the sound of the underground from 5am you are in luck as this room had that feature which vibrated the room and made the room door rattle in its lock, we had to jam a chair against the door to stop it. Apart from the noise and poor sleep the room was small and bathroom tiny but everything felt really high quality with some very nice personal touches, breakfast was also very good. I would stay again but avoid Room 1

We have visited this wonderful hotel on several occasions and it never fails to provide a very special experience. On arrival we always receive a warm yet professional start to our stay . A very special thank you to the General Manager Luca who goes above and beyond to ensure everything is of the highest standard & chef Joe who produces amazing food perfectly designed to compliment each event.I have a severe nut allergy which is taken very seriously by the team and I trust their judgement. This a truly unique London venue you wouldn’t want to miss…. We don’t! x

Our stay and post-wedding lunch at the Dorset Square Hotel was absolutely delightful and magical. The post-wedding lunch was perfect, seamless and absolutely delicious, the service impeccable, and for the evening we spent at the hotel we were even upgraded to an absolutely stunning suite - where we had an incredible stay. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful, we didn't want to leave! We could not be more grateful for the care, kindness, and generosity Luca and his entire team extended to us and our families. Thank you very, very much. We cannot recommend this hotel enough, whether for a celebration or just to stay!

This was my 4th time staying at this hotel and I'll never stay at another London hotel. Seriously. Everything about this place feels luxurious - the incredibly designed rooms, the Kit Kemp amenities, the access to the private park across the street. But what really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Everyone at the front desk, in the restaurant, in room service, and in housekeeping are friendly and attentive. I felt so well taken care of! I'd like to especially call out Irina from the front desk who was incredibly kind and understanding when I asked about upgrading my room to one with a view of the garden. She patiently showed me several options and made the switching process super easy.

Another great stay at the Dorset Square. When we arrive, it now feels like we are coming home. The rooms, while not large, are beautiful and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The breakfast is a quiet, peaceful treat. The staff is always professional and anxious to please. We are always sad to leave.

Such a lovely boutique hotel in the best location in central London within walking distance of Marylebone train station. I was travelling solo for one night and had an early train to catch so this hotel was perfect. It has a lovely lounge area opposite the reception and a cozy restaurant downstairs. My room, at the top of the hotel, was very small but beautifully designed and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept on with gorgeous linens. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Response from Property: Dear E2942Qlmicheller, thank you very much for your lovely review and for sharing your experience. It was a huge pleasure to look after you and we look forward to welcome you back in the near future, I am delighted you appreciated the comfortable bed and our cozy potting Shed. We had the most amazing stay at dorset square hotel. We had planned to get married at old marylebone townhall and were looking for a hotel nearby to host an intimate party and honestly this hotel was the place. We stayed for two nights and the service was more than excellent. We hosted a lovely wedding afternoon tea followed by a small party at the potting shed restaurant. We cannot express how perfect everything was. Luca the hotel manager guided us to ensure we had the most perfect day. Service was absolutely excellent. I wish i could remember the names of the team to list each one of them but they made our day so special. They were all so nice helping and supporting us to have the best day. We were self conscious that we may have stressed them with all our requests but they honestly made sure they catered for all our needs to ensure we had the best stay. I 100% recommend this hotel. To add to it, we can’t express how beautiful the hotel is. It is a true boutique hotel experience so beautiful and the table ware was stunning. It is also wedgewood x kit kemp(owner of the hotel) things which were just amazing. Overall we had a special memorable two days and would not recommend it enough to everyone! It may be a long message but we wanted to add that when we checked out we were apologising to the reception staff that we hope we were not noisy and their response was that they were so happy to see a wedding happening in the hotel and were so happy with it which made us happy. Finally, the staff for our party were just the absolute best. They were always smiling so lovely to our guests made the best drinks and food was excellent. Conscious that this may be the longest message but we want to ensure that we have covered everyone as they were so so nice. 100% recommend to everyone!

This is a very stylish hotel, typical of the Firmdale family. Check in was efficient and friendly and we liked our room. Breakfast was delicious and the lounge was a very comfortable place to chill out. The hotel has a cricket theme to mirror its location near the original Lords cricket ground and this all added to the slightly quirky feel.
Response from Property: Dear 880lindam, thank you for taking the time and sharing your experience following your stay at the Dorset Square Hotel. I am delighted to hear the team took very good care of you and you found the breakfast delicious. The hotel was originally the site of Thomas Lord's first cricket ground hence the cricket memorabilia displayed at the hotel. I look forward to welcome you back, Best wishes, Luca Perletti General Manager
