ROOM is not small but very tiny, stayed 3 nights for single occupancy. Had to step into toilet to close front door. from front door its one step to left toilet/bath and one step to right a queen bed. there was a weird pillar in middle of room as well. noisy dripping sound from above, all day, all night, ask to change rooms which comes with condition to check out in morning and "try" checking in again in late afternoon/evening. i gave up and they came to change my room shower head while i was away which is totally not the noise origination.... they don't clean rooms daily. no phone in room had to go down to fetch amenities and water if u need experience wise not good for GBP250+/night. On the good side, room, towels, bedsheets are clean. if you just there for 1 night its ok but not more.

I stay here quite a lot because it’s near where I work. Everyone at the front desk is really helpful. Although the rooms are quite small, they are perfectly formed and there is a pretty good café next door. The showers are excellent.

Generally good and clean, good location, a supermarket nearby to buy drinks and food, air conditioning is good, the only problem is the shower and toilet door is glass, can see through from the room.

Stayed in inside room was very very warm and air conditioner wasn’t very powerful so would recommend getting a window if you don’t like hot rooms! Location is great, staff great super clean!

Excellent hotel for the price! Yes the rooms are extremely small, that’s the point. We knew we wouldn’t be in the room much so that didn’t matter. What made the difference was the excellent staff and service. The Z membership (entirely free and gets you 10% off your booking when booking!) lets you get a beautiful cheese plate and wine complimentary every night (for non Z members it’s available every Tuesday and Saturday), and a complimentary coffee at the cafe. Additionally the staff was very kind and friendly. The location is great and within walking distance of SOHO, convent garden, and many other fun areas and tourist attractions like the British museum. If you are looking for a comfortable hotel with great service and not planning on spending all your time in your room this is the hotel for you!

Avoid! Awful tiny rooms, barely larger than the bed, either with no window or with oddly shaped ones. Erratic AC, uncomfortable bed, no space to store anything. I have seen more luxurious cabins in submarines, all for over €300 per night. Frankly a disgrace.

I was ın the Z hotel for business and my stay was very comfortable because of the great location and the people that were working, specially Facundo that was in the bar and was very helpful with everything that I need I will definitely recommend my friends to stay in Z Hotel! Thank you very much !

Fantastic stay. Greeted by friendly and helpful staff and they remained so through my stay. On the fifth floor and had to take 1 1/2 flight of steps but was asked if that would be ok or if I needed another room. No problem there and no issue at all. The room was crispy clean with everything I needed. No desk but the café on the ground floor is open 24/7, nice and cosy with excellent WiFi. Bed was good with a nice think bedcover. None of this one sheet to sleep with. Bed would comfortably fit 2 large adults. 44+ inch tv on the wall with plenty of channels, including sports. Fleet Street location so pretty much close to everything. Will recommend and am staying again. Thanks Z.

I’ve stayed in pod rooms without windows before in London, but the key to not feeling claustrophobic is having some air flow. Sadly this hotel is well aware their air conditioning systems are failed as referenced in other reviews (room 202) but are not rectifying this. On checking out the receptionist asked how my stay was, as soon as I mentioned the air con she gave a resigned nod with no apology. For £279 a night, they need to fix this fast.

This is my fav Z so far. They are all well located, but this is right on Fleet Street. The name is City but you are ideally located for theatre district, South Bank & the City. It has a proper bar downstairs, super friendly reception staff and is really quiet in the room! Perfect stay.

We stayed for two nights here. The hotel is fine, and has all amenities you would need in a room. However the room is incredibly small, so was difficult to move around with two people in the room. We could cope with that however what the issue for us was the bed. The bed was incredibly hard, and so uncomfortable so for this reason alone we would not stay again or recommend. However, room was very clean and staff pleasant. Great location.

Rooms were a bit small but ok, I was out most of the day. My first solo trip. The location was great. Staff friendly and smile a lot. Roger and Phil were an amazing help. Made me feel comfortable and allowed me to check in early. Breakfast was ok for the first day I prefer English breakfast from Covent Garden about 10 minutes away. Clean rooms and room cleaned everyday. i plan to stay back next year.
