I guess for the price and location it's what you expect. Receptionist was nice and polite. However, it was a very cold night and I noticed that the heating was turned off a bit before midnight, stayed off all night and was turned on again sometime in the morning. It was very cold considering it's a very old building that has no insulation and the old type of windows are like having no window at all. This made it uncomfortable to sleep, combined with the small double bed (don't think it's comfortable for 2 people) I don't think you get any sleep.

It’s really convenient for me and my friends

The location is great and the guy at the front desk is very attentive. The bathroom is cleaned every day, the refrigerator and water heater are good, and the room is good. Unfortunately, the window is open to the road, which is very annoying, and there is no sand window.

Note that there is no elevator, so large luggage needs to be carried upstairs by yourself.

The hotel is near the British Museum. The staff was kind and polite. But the water pressure of the shower was terrible.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the shared bathroom was clean. The website reflects what the place is, reasonable value for money, clean and tidy. I would stay again.

I normally stay at big hotels, but this place is a little charm. The staff are friendly, and helpful with whatever questions you have. There’s a shared bathroom for each floor, but it’s a good size and it’s very clean. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great staff and very clean rooms. And it's in such a great location, that has got to be the biggest advantage. There's only one wall plug and the room is very small, but it is a nice budget stay for those that just need a place to sleep over. Bathroom are clean and organized, and there's plenty of them available in the hotel. Overall good budget stay.

Charming family-run hotel, walking distance from plenty of London attractions, nice neighborhood. An older building with older facilities, but that's part of its charm!

Indeed, although this hotel is affordable, the reception is lacking. The reception staff seems indifferent to friendliness, showing neither courtesy nor a smile. Furthermore, the bed wasn't comfortable, but the advantageous location remains the only positive aspect for your visits.

Last minute booking due to cancelled Eurostar and was perfectly comfortable. Really good location and not noisy at all given how central it is. Friendly staff and comfortable family room. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and the double bed wasn't a proper double, however
