I love the proximity of the hotel from paddington station and many shops and restaurants nearby too. the hotel is simple and meets my needs.

Hotel gave two guests keys to our room, who entered at 2am while we were asleep. All because the hotel messed up both of our bookings. No refund or compensation given either. We were on the basement floor. You can hear rats scuttling behind the walls. Desk was unmanned a lot at night, right next to Paddington station. Anyone can walk straight in and use the lift. This is a very unsafe hotel. Please avoid it.

Room was spacious, location was convenient.
Downsides were that our room was up two flights of stairs, a bit of a struggle with bringing luggage up and down. Staff were helpful and brought the luggage up to us.
Shower water pressure was too weak for my liking. Also the bathroom would be very damp after a hot shower.
Overall a good and practical hotel in London, very close to Hyde Park and cafes.

Room too hot, A/C very poor, to watch tv in bed you have to move the bed around as TV fixed to the wall, room decoration in need of refreshing

Lovely place. The front desk staff was nice and friendly. The hotel is also very close to paddington station which is a very accessible hub to go around London.
