I didn't stay here. Trip tried to get a refund when I had an overnight delay. The hotel stuck by their policy of non refundable rooms. A token offer would have been appreciated

location very near to kings cross st pancras, hotel upgraded my room to have a private toilet altho i checked in late atnight, good service and comfortable stay for a night.

There is construction around, the sound insulation of the room is poor, the water heater has a small amount of water, it is hot and cold, the bathroom has a musty smell, there are no paper towels in the room, and there is no drinking water. The boss's attitude is average and he also asked to pay for the difference in the room.

The hotel staff is very enthusiastic, the room is clean and well-equipped, it is worth staying

Conveniently located next to railway station .Easy access to malls shops.room was very small with a small window.They don’t serve food.Had a mounted tv right in front of the bed .they do provide with kettle for hot water for tea/coffee.early check in not possible

Pro-Best location, literally steps away from underground st pancras kings cross train station; Clean sheets, excellent friendly service, very well kept , daily dusting vacuum mop wipe rooms; even let us keep bags in lobby while we explored London; Con- not wheelchair mobility impaired accessible- many stairs, no liftelevators. be aware there is shared very narrow toilet and shower facilities not a place for fat people. not encouraged to use stove, fridge is fine, but again shared facilities.

I am used to stay at MacDonald hotel and I would highly recommend this little hotel. Pro: Perfect for a weekend trip to London. Excellent location (St. Pancras). Affordable prices… Con: No breakfast Very narrow rooms Aging room furnishings

Great location. Basic, good value hotel, very clean. I had single room with en-suite rather than shared bathroom. Room and bathroom were small but perfect for me as solo traveller. Very pleasant staff. I stayed two nights, highly recommend if you want clean, no frills accommodation.

Cheap , cheerful, clean, comfortable. Great little hotel slap bang in the middle of the action . Lots of building work in the location but no noise after 5pm . Room was small but adequate for my 2 night stay . Will go bak. Great vue for london at under 60 aa night for my out of season stay.

Booked a fully flexible DBB price on 14 November with option to cancel or change free, without penalty. On 20 November I rang central booking to cancel dinner reservation but was told I would have to re-book B&B at a much higher price. I checked with customer complaints and they said this was correct. As my date of stay gets nearer and the hotel has less availability the price goes up. I was not allowed to change my original booking 'free without penalty' as per the hotel terms and conditions. Will never visit a Macdonald hotel again.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, clean and rather spacious room compared to other hotels in London of the same standard, clean toilet and shower. We were a family of three in a room with three single beds with a shared bathroom in the hallway (just outside the door). The area offers some great food options and we caught trains, tubes, buses and a hop-on-hop off bus just within minutes of walking from the hotel. This was my fifth time at similar priced hotels in London and so far this is the only one I would stay at again... and recommend to others (as long as they don't mind simplicity, shared bathroom and stairs).

The hotel is lovely - great setting and standard. I wouldn't say it's 5 star level, but it is a luxury hotel. TV channel options are limited - no iplayer, netflix etc. Spa is great although the staff are a bit officious. Food and room service good. Overall a nice hotel and we would stay again.

We stayed 11 nights. Friendly and caring staff, who will go the extra mile to keep their guests happy. We felt safe and well looked after. Other than that the building is not new, and the facilities are small with narrow staircases (like most of the properties in London). Nevertheless we give 5 stars and will return if we are in London again. - The Poghosyan family.

Peaceful place to rest, just behind the busy street, 5 minutes walk from St. Pancras King's Cross station. Simple, clean, quiet, good firm mattress, with private bathroom, managed by a kind hearted man. The manager gladly stored our luggages before our stay. We moved to Macdonald hotel from the hotel at Argyle Street, because we got the front room, even up to 3am was still very noisy.
