The room is big, very relaxing environment and good for distant travellers who need a bigger room to pack their stuff The location is a bit tricky if you travel in the uk via tube, better call a taxi or Uber

Visiting a relative in the area !! Surprisingly Spacious and well equipped accommodation…..couldn’t really fault it … Found it a bit noisy at night though .. Staff were all exceptionally polite and helpful as well ,, next time would ask for quiet room !!!

Highly recommended. Very spacious. It has a kitchen and a sense of design. The front desk service is good. No service charge is required.

The old Town Hall restyled into an interesting and comfortable hotel with a stylish vintage feel. Rooms with small well equipped kitchens make this place great for longer stays. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms spacious although the deep and narrow tub can be a little tricky. Quiet and out of the way yet walking distance to the central line, Broadway market, interesting restaurants and cocktail bars.

Room was exactly as shown in the photos. Really comfortable bed and well equipped. Only downside was the bathroom, took a while to figure out the taps as they were in need of some repair. But overall a very comfortable stay, would visit again.

Near the Bethnal Green tube stop easy access into London’s main attraction on the central Line. 50m from the V&A kids museum and lots of good restaurants across the road. The pool and gym are great and the rooms (suite with kitchen) was excellent value

Warm welcome from reception staff was a great start. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. Lovely and spacious with a coffee machine, kettle, fridge etc. We had a couple of minor ******* - the sofa was very low, so hard to get up and down from for older people and the small hanging space provided was badly designed as the door wouldn’t close when items were hanging up. Overall though a very comfortable stay.

Unfortunately myself and my wife were disappointed with our stay. We are still waiting back for an e mail from the manager as we wrote a long list of issues we encountered during our stay. We never like writing bad reviews but after not having a reply for 2 months after our stay we are forced too. - Bed was uncomfortable (had to move) - Nearly all the wardrobe doors were falling off - Metal angles on the corners were coming off ( this got duct taped back!- not exactly 4 star standard) - The Pool was cold and pump didn’t seem to be working or on as hair was floating on the surface (nobody else in there ) - No handle in the male changing room for the swimming pool. All in all it was a shame we had this experience as the hotel is nice but just needs a lot of TLC and better customer service it seems. Once again upset we had to write a bad review

Pros: excellent historical building with loads of original features. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cons: stayed on a Monday, and this is an expensive "experience" hotel, yet all the bars or places you could sit and have a drink as a resident inside were closed. All day long. So it cost you a fortune and all you have is your room. Felt conned to be honest, was staying as special treat for big birthday celebration and visit to my roots. Further, despite nowhere to run up "incidentals", they insist on taking £50 off you at check in. As only had contactless on phone, this means they actually charge you £50, to be refunded on exit. I objected to this, saying I would pay if used the the non existent services, but they insisted it was policy. Overall: it's a beautiful hotel let down by super high prices in one of the country's most deprived areas (I grew up here, in the flats opposite). This place should be accessible to people, almost like a museum. Instead it is so ridiculously priced that anyone who is not rich are priced out of of it. Big shame.

The hotel room was huge with a living area and kitchenette and separate bedroom. The bathroom was very big with really nice toiletries.

The property looks great but rooms are in need of serious attention; we had to move room twice - the first because window curtain didn’t fully close allowing in light; second room change due to broken A/C. The third room also had an A/C issue but at that point not worth moving again. The hotel clearly needs to audit the condition/functionality of its rooms - the staff try manage the issues as they arise but this is a matter of property condition and ownership. Running down such a great asset makes little sense.

Lovely building but accommodation is not up to a premium standard. Heating very high 25 degrees and difficult to adjust, basic items like bed side table absent, kitchen not equipped well, bathroom a little grotty. Good selection of toiletries but it’d take useful bedside tables over a free moisturiser!

Unfortunately there was a film crew using the hotel which created a fair bit of noise from 7am. The car alarm that was going off all night didn’t help.
