The room was comfy and quiet with the usual things provided. I was able to check in a bit earlier. Reception was lovely.

Beautiful hotel with comfortable and clean rooms. Very close to Barbican station. Nice idea to have a free coffee machine on the basement.

Good location. Decent size room and ok bedding. Slight smell coming from sink and soundproofing between rooms not great (which was fine for me but may be an issue for others).

Everything at this hotel was perfect! Location seems to be a bit far from center of London but, thanks to the nice traffc system, moving around in London is very easy, but please note that fares are not cheap. At each room, heater system is perfectly embedded and it works well so that we could enjoy staying at warm place. This nice hotel offers free coffee at lobby floor and it tastes super rich and good so that we did not need to visit place like Starbucks. All staff were very helpful and very kind! Hope to visit this place again whenever i travel in London. Thank you so much for everything Citadines Barbican!

The room was great, equipped with everything we needed (apart from no conditioner and air conditioning not working properly). The staff were friendly and helpful. In general, it was a great experience. The price was a bit expensive.

The air conditioner was broken. There was no heating when the outdoor temperature was below 10 degrees. After several repairs, they finally brought a heater. The switch of the heater would automatically trip after a few minutes, and then light up again after a few minutes. The switch sound seriously affected my sleep. I stayed for 6 nights and only came in to clean the room one day. I had to go to the basement to change towels and add toilet paper by myself.

The location is very good, with convenient transportation. It is close to several subway entrances and can be directly connected to the airport if there is no strike.

Although the room is compact, it is fully functional and clean. The kitchen allows us to make a simple breakfast every morning. Travel is convenient, with Barbican Underground Station a five-minute walk and Farlington Station a 12-minute walk. There are Tesco convenience stores and many restaurants nearby, making life very convenient. I will definitely choose Citadines again next time I come to London.

Citadine is a hotel apartment brand owned by Ascott. It is relatively good. I stayed at the Holborn hotel in London many years ago and it was okay. This time I stayed at the Barbican. The facilities are relatively new, which is a good thing. They are also equipped with a kitchen, so you can cook some food yourself. If you don’t have a rush in London, this is a facility you can make good use of. The hotel is quiet and has convenient transportation. It is very close to Barbican Station on the Northern Line of the Underground and Farringdon Station on the Elizabeth Line. They are both less than 10 minutes' walk away. It can be said to be very convenient to go to various places in London. The Barbican Center next to it is also worth visiting. It is a masterpiece of Brutalist architecture with a strong sense of space. It is also a gathering place for artists. It's a pity: the room is a bit small and oddly shaped. Large suitcases take up a lot of space when unfolded. The room was a bit dusty and not cleaned every day. The sound insulation is also slightly poor. Overall, the price-performance ratio can only be said to be average. But I thought it would be acceptable in London.

It is very conveniently located near the subway station and the tiktok office. The standard of Citadines is online, the room layout is comfortable, clean and hygienic, and the size is large for London, with high cost performance.
