The room was very small for 2 people, but we did get what we paid for. I travelled to London with a friend as we were going to Wembley the next day and given we just needed somewhere to stay for one night it more than did the job. On the negative side of things: The bathroom handle was very loose and couldn't be locked, the shower fluctuated between freezing and boiling hot, the breakfast consisted of a sandwich is a tupperware container along with a yoghurt, an apple and a boiled egg. The positives include: great location, right next to Hyde Park and a 5 minute walk from the closest tube station, TV in room, easy to get to Wembley and back to Euston, comfy beds and cheap price. Would have no problem staying again but would maybe keep an eye out for other, more roomy places.

After looking for a room in expensive London, I finally picked it as a cost-effective hotel. A very small but thankful hotel

Tiny room with mould and tired features, lacking facilities. Very over-priced. The bathroom was tiny and the bed took up the entire room. We had a single cupboard with 2 hangers. Nearby hotels and rooms are much better. We decided to only stay one night. The location is very good, so we booked a place in the same road. Local restaurants are also really good

DO NOT BOOK!!!! If Aids was an hotel. This has to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I personally think sleeping in a bin lorry would of been a better experience. The hotel receptionist had as much empathy as a block of wood when we complained that we found a dirty needle in the bathroom and mold, not to mention skids on the bed sheets. It is the stuff of nightmares so please, don't book and find an alternative hotel so you can enjoy your stay in this great City. X

Probably the worst hotel in England. Really dirty and grubby. Felt filthy after being in there. Think there was actual poo in the shower (see pic) . Couldn’t swing a cat in the room. Could barely get down the side of the bed. Bathroom smelt really bad. Hairs in the end that weren’t ours. Felt really seedy and grim.

The best thing about this hotel is the location and upon arrival the staff were helpful and friendly. Apart from that I don’t really have anything else positive to say. I was staying in London for a training course so wasn’t expecting 5* luxury but was expecting more than this hotel offered. The room was in the basement which as you walked down the stairs you can smell the damp. The room itself was a good size and the bed was comfy enough but the walls were damp with mould on them. There were 2 remotes for the TV which neither worked. The shower and toilet were just about big enough for me to squeeze in. The room was next to a metal staircase which was In use from around 5 in the morning. You could hear the other guests and footsteps above the room from the floor above. The kettle was missing and I could go on. We were due to stay 6 nights but left after 2. From my experience I would avoid this hotel.

Room stank of smoke, walls were very badly stained, blind had stains and no string to raise it, I could feel the bed springs, no remote control for TV.

So I’ve just checked out this morning this is my general points! Check In/Out Was check in really quick & easy by Jorge. Was very polite and helpful! Please note he was the only staff member I saw on the desk. (It seems that they is only one staff member at one time, so please be patient) Room I had a double bed on the third floor. So has I was travelling alone it was fine but it was small only a small space each side of the bed (but you could walk down the side anyway) No air con at all so don’t expect any…..TV didn’t have a remote and the one thing I would Say is DO NOT USE THE HAIR DYER!!!! I turn it on and the smell of burning started so I turn it off!! I will say I went downstairs and spoke to Jorge and said do you have a fan and a remote for the TV….after the reviews I thought nothing would happen but Jorge turn up with a fan (it was broken but he fixed it ) and a few remotes for the TV…..so he was very helpful FYI the TV didn’t work. Bathroom So this is the funny bit i am 6ft 1 and the shower was small!! But I made it work! The door was abit broken but it opened and closed! Toilet /sink worked……what more do you need! Location It’s a 8min walk to Paddington station and a 5min walk to Lancaster Gate tube! So if you after a basic place to just rest your head go here! It’s cheap for central London if you dont want to buy £300/400 for a couple of nights! Is it a 3 star probably not!! But it does have a lift and a lovely bunch place down the road!

The hotel is rated as 3 star, absolute joke! The reception ceiling had a major leak, carpets scruffy and dirty, not a good start. We had a twin room on the 4th floor, walls and carpets filthy, so small we could not get ready at the same time! Tv didnt work, extractor in bathroom broken, smelt damp, mould around window and the shower room was disgusting! Hadnt been cleaned for a long time, grime all around the shower and sink, shower leaked on floor as door broken. Toilet seat broken, again so small you could not dry yourself in there you had to use the bedroom! If you wanted your room cleaned it was an extra £10, disgusting hotel, should never be allowed to operate, embarrassing bad.
