Premier Inn London Archway Hotel Reviews

2 nights £440 we did expect it to be so much better. On arrival we couldn't get from the car park into the hotel as a traffice cone was in place of the lift meaning we had to walk all the way round and up a single vehicle ramp with 2 suite cases. Then at the desk we tell the receptionist of the problem , her reply was oh really... not sure if she understood english to be honest. Anyway we just want our room as we done a 3 hour drive and was meeting my daughter soon, the receptionist tells me i needed to pay.i told her it was all payed on the 13 may, she looked on the computer and told us again no payment had been made. At this time im getting annoyed thinking ive be in some kind of scam. Some 10 minutes go by and im still being told i must pay and now my wife is saying i have made some mistake nowing full well i havent .so i go on line internet banking and bring up the payment have been made on the 13th. Receptionist then goes off for 5 minutes returning with a manager who went through another 5 minutes of faff and at last we can have our room and yes it had been payed. Go to our room which was nice and clean but the main table lamp light not working, not the end of the world so told the wife to get in the shower before me as we need to get a move on, "guess what " she said, there is no hot water ! . You cant be serious, but she was. I tell the maid innthe room few doors down and she called in to check and said i was right and that she would repot it. . Decided to give it half hour in hope it would change as we were pushed for time, so on our way out we went to the receptionist but this time the manager was on the desk, told her of the situation and she said with no hesitation we will have to move you . But everthing was unpacked and we were leaving to meet my daughter so would deal with it later on. This did put a damper on things one we met up at the restaurant and to be honest was thinking of moving to a different hotel.... Anyway the next morning our room had hot water as it should have. The breakfast was good although it should have more that one staff doing everything and more than one coffee machine and cueing took way too long meaning food was getting cold and wouldnt think about getting a refill. We would personally never stay againg or recommend anyone do so neither which is a shame as im a big fan of premier inns..

Clean and modern hotel. Location is very near the tube station.

Cozy cheap and great accessibility to the surrounding places. Would go if you’re on a short budget and wants to be in close to the city centre.

The room is very clean, the surrounding is quiet and safe, and there is a subway station 100 meters away, which can directly reach the city center of Leicester (China Town). The main desk is on the first floor. It is very convenient to call BER when traveling. The price is reasonable and worth staying for business and tourism.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. The Archway subway station is just outside. There are many restaurants around. The room is large and very clean. There is no lift in the subway station, which is not very convenient for people like me with heavy luggage.

Hotel well located near the metro, the room quiet and pleasant. Wide choice for breakfast. A friendly team that offers a warm welcome

The staff were lovely and very helpful! Great location, very secure and quiet in a busy area. Would stay here again!

The prime example of a good premier inn, great staff and a room as good as expected. The breakfast was good value for money

I am a returning customer at Premier Inn Archway and I am always more than pleased with my stay. The staff are super friendly, accomodating and helpful. The rooms have everything you would need and they are comfortable. The only thing I would probably like is a mini fridge but it's not a big fault. The location is perfect, not even 2 minutes walk from Archway station and very well connected with different bus routes. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and varied, exactly what you would need, highly reccomend the porridge, so creamy, perfection! Will definitely be back again.

The staff here really make this place from grass roots cleaners and maintenance, right up to the restaurant, reception and management. It’s fabulously located and I really want to sight Alice Nagy for fabulous troubleshooting with all things necessary and Ludwig and Norman on for super help with moving my room because I forgot to book an accessible room. Everyone is so kind and adaptable. The restaurant staff and chefs are also incredibly attentive and go out of their way to help and the breakfast is outstanding. Sadie and all of the lovely service staff, which I sadly don’t know all of the names of, always help me with my breakfast at each stay because of my disabilities. I stay here regularly for work and they are all so helpful. Wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in North or Central London. It’s above Archway tube station, so you have seconds to walk to access anywhere in London, on a well serviced line of the tube. First choice for me always!

I spend a lot of time in Premier Inns with work and hands down this is the absolute best one I know of. The staff are friendly and so helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy and parking (once you have found it because the sat nav will try to take you the wrong way down a one way road!) is secure and not too expensive. Food is standard Premier Inn type food but it is prepared with care and the vegetables etc still taste of actual vegetables! I still cannot shake the feeling that Premier Inns anywhere else in the country are really not Premier at all. Having faced multiple dirty rooms, damp and food poisoning (in one location) I really do not have a love of them at all anymore. But this one is truly different and I re-book regularly here because it actually feels like a lovely night away from home instead of a chore to be endured.

A bit of a mixed bag this one. The location is very good being next to Archway Tube station We booked a Premier room rather than the standard but found very little difference between rooms in other Premier Inns I've stayed in over 3 decades. Apart from a small fridge and a coffee machine we never used the room was pretty standard. The WiFi was slow. Very slow. Ended up using my 5G. The shower was a rainfall shower with little pressure but the bath was deep with plenty hot water. The A/C on truing when we got in the room kept switching itself off after a few seconds but thankfully settled down and worked really well. Cooled the room down nicely and was quiet. One of the quietest in any Premier Inn I’ve stayed in. We didn’t try the food as there’s plenty of eating establishments nearby. We didn’t see any staff apart from checkin we hear the receptionist didn’t look too pleased to see us. Must have had a bad day. The only problem I had with this Premier Inn was having one small window that wouldn’t open (not unusual in premier inns or other hotels) so fresh air wasn’t an option. Premier inn reckon there’s an ample supply of fresh air but I disagree. The room was stuff and when the A/C was on very dry. The other thing I didn’t like was in an event of a fire blocking our escape from the room (ie in the corridor) it would be very difficult to try and escape from the small window. The glass was fairly thick which has the benefit of keeping the room quiet. (It was very quiet hotel) but difficult to break. I don’t think I’ll stay there again.
