Chamberlain House

We had a wonderful couple of days at the Chamberlain house!!! Easy check in, convenient, super clean! Thanks to Teresa for her kindness and helping hand!

Stayed here two nights while visiting Derry and overall, had a great stay. My room was a twin because that was all that was left. I would stay here again but only in a double room. Due to the historic housing, the rooms are a bit small, and accommodating that other bed made it a little awkward. My room was also on the top floor which had some steep steps (FYI for people with mobility issues) and a slanted ceiling, which even for someone that is petite, hit my head a few times. Shower was good for hot water and water pressure. Wifi was also great on-site. There is a shared kitchen area to store food and cook if needed. It looked to be well stocked as well. The owners and managers were really polite and helpful. The guesthouse is also about a 5 minute walk from the bus station and very easy to locate. Overall, would recommend it and I would stay again.

This was an amazing stay for a impromptu girls weekend away. Cameron was so helpful and full of great advice. The room and bnb were spotless and comfortable. Will be recommending Chamberlain House to my family when they go to visit my sister who is starting uni later this year. Thanks again

Short and sweet stay The room was fairly small and had some furniture that I don’t think it needed. It was perfect for our 1 night stay. Liam was accessible through email and Teresa was amazing. Super clean, simple and great location

Highly recommended. As a biker there was good secure parking, which is important to me. Very clean and tidy. Teresa was excellent with a really great brief on the city and what to do.

Unfortunately the water had to be turned off due to a leak which left us unable to use the toilet, shower, etc. I realise that this was beyond the control of the owners. Despite that, the accommodation was clean, comfortable and very central. Liam greeted us at the property and showed us places of interest to go to and nice places to eat.

The room was nice and although on a busy street, we enjoyed a restful sleep. I believe the owner has a friend handle the check-ins. As she's done this 00's of times, wasn't too warm and seemed to just deliver a rehearsed and well used procedures. We parked on the street as the entrance to their parking was very narrow.
