Travelodge Thame

Clean, tidy, welcoming and great value for money. Excellent night sleep and a great base for our weekend with family.

Stayed as an over night stop gap with my two brothers on our way down south. I will say this hotel is a little gem. Lovely and clean, warm and inviting rooms. The manager is lovely and friendly. Cant fault this hotel and would recommend to friends and family. We will visit again.

What a tired, depressing place. Being close to Travelodge UK headquarters we imagined, incorrectly, that this would be a flagship venue. Wrong. We had to wait for a receptionist to appear to check in, the room was cold and uninviting, the bathroom was not particularly clean with a previous guest’s medication left on the floor. The 'shower gel' smelt like cheap washing-up liquid. The mattress was cheap and unsupportive . Wi-Fi was chargeable! Yes, really. Needless to say we won’t be returning.

We paid for a family room but didn’t receive a family room as they had ‘overbooked’ We stayed in a room too small with two tiny beds (smaller than single beds) no refund was given

Clean, comfortable room. Bathroom clean. Good location for our purpose. Price represented reasonable value for money

Check in was excellent Lizzie was my receptionist and she couldn't have been more helpful if she had tried. Room was pleasant clearly the hotel has been refurbished since I was last there and that was a pleasant change, my hotel room was quiet I wasn't disturbed by noise other than the occasional conversation people going past my room. The venue was ideally located for my work being just one mile away and parking was plentiful. The hotel was expensive for Travelodge and I would urge people to look around first to see they can get cheaper but in the absence of anything cheaper this is worth staying at.
