Travelodge Thame

When I arrived at the hotel, I wasn’t at my best emotionally as I have additional needs and was extremely overwhelmed. the amazing staff at the desk noticed and was so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was ok and that my room was accommodating. One member of staff knocked at the door few hours after checking in, not asking any personal questions and was very professional. just wanting to make sure that I was ok and that they are all there if ever needed anything. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness and their observation. Not only was the hotel clean and so relaxing giving me the prefect environment to unwind But their customer service was above any beyond. I can’t thank them enough for such a wonderful stay. I will definitely be returning and recommend this hotel 5⭐️

Always stay here when visiting the family that live local, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff in my experience are always friendly and polite, to be fair what more can you ask of a budget friendly hotel chain, travel lodge app is my goto when looking for a budget hotel.

We received no greeting as we entered the building. We were handed the key but had to ask where to go to find the room. The room has a really strong smell of mould so we requested a different room. The new one didn't smell (why not give us this one in the first place?) but the growth outside almost touched the window and made the room dark and feel a bit intimidating. They charge for WiFi use! Disappointing in all respects with an overwhelming smell of mould.

Receptionist was brilliant. Warm, Smiling and did a super rapid check in. The negatives: - The loo had not been flushed when we arrived !!! - The room had a stale smell. - The shower didnt work properly. - paid over £170 for a family room. (ive paid less for a 5Star hotel)

Recently stayed at Thame Travelodge. All of the staff I come across were friendly with amazing smiles. If I needed anything, they were always on hand to help. The room was nice and clean. Again, if I needed extra towels or anything. I just asked and they were able to give me some. There was problems with the water pressure, but I let reception know and they were doing their best to sort it out. Very happy with my stay. Will definitely book again.

Awesome location for travelling to visit family, all ground floor, short walk into Thame, lovely staff who were super attentive & soo friendly. Our room was comfy & clean & I would definitely stay with my family again. Highly recommend if your planning a visit

Sink, toilet and bath dirty and with hairs on arrival. Room smelt musty. Had to buy Dettox wipes to clean. No soap in soap dispenser. Couldn't use shower or even wash hair in the morning as water in shower and in sink were pulsing and we were unable to adjust temperature or flow of water. There was rubbish on the floor and under the bed. There were two sachets of coffee. We used both. Not nice coffee. Good job neither of us take sugar as we would have had to share one sachet. Really bad night's sleep as neighbours were constantly arriving and departing throughout the night and then, just when we dropped off in the morning (checkout was 12pm lunchtime) some woman was complaining really loudly outside our door at 7.35am that she couldn't shower because of the above. We sympathised as we then found the same, but it would have been nice to have a little sleep for the huge price before we left.

Awful smelly hotel, everywhere smells like a crustacean-foot nightmare, I have never in all my years of staying at hotels encountered such a poor hotel, 2-star hotel more like 1-star and thats being generous!!! Disinterested rude staff on check-in, just sat there looking at her computer like she had better places to be. Had to walk 10 miles to get to my room, was in a completely different town, absolutely repulsive odour follows you all the way down corridor to remind you they scrub the floors with a toilet brush, upon entry to room ceiling looked like I wasnt going to survive the night, all cracks in wall, brown smears over chair, insects and hair all over bed, also some stains I would rather not speculate. Carpet was damp and smelly, was like walking over a shoreline, and dont get me started on the bathroom!!! So much mould around the bath it was growing its own mushroom greenhouse, mould all over shower curtains, all faucets were rusted... Toilet had all brown stains over it, when I spoke to the reception woman in corridor, she said all the toilets are like that and its just stains!!!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING PLACE, I BOOKED FOR THE LOCATION BUT I WOULD RATHER SLEEP IN THE BURGER KING FRYER, WHICH BY THE WAY YOU COULD SMELL EVERYWHERE IN THE HOTEL!!!! I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH LETS THIS PLACE CONTINUE OPERATING

Clean and comfortable, easy free parking and well positioned. The only drawback was the rather dim lighting in the room
