Not a safe place to stay. Their room keys open more than one room. We received key to different room but it opened our door, the door of correct room and an additional door we tried just to test it. We originally did not notice that key was to wrong room because we were tired and just went to the room we were told was ours. There was not another hotel available on such short notice so we stayed and slept with a chair by the door.

Absolutely kip of a hotel. I stay away for work all over Ireland and without a doubt, one of the worst hotels. Firstly the bedroom and especially the ensuite were disgusting. The windows were old, barely closing and covered in mould. Carpet grubby and furniture from the 1980s. I actually contemplated sleeping in my car. I can stay in a lovely 4 star Hotel in Tullamore for €30 less. Absolutely never again setting foot in here

The food was very mediocre and dry, we got overcooked rice. I am reasonable and just said maybe they are having a bad day. But then I went out of the hotel to get something from my car and the Lobby manager put his hand in my way at the door blocking my way and demanded ID while my family was inside having their meals. Worst experience in a hotel ever. Will not be bringing business to this hotel anymore.

Great hotel for Royal Canal Greenway. Comfy sheets and large room, great staff. Very happy to store bike securely and good value food. Took 1710 from Connolly Station to Longford for 1900hs, in room by 1720hrs. Breakfast from 0730 for a good start on 120km to Kilcock by 1600hrs.

Horrendous hotel , no residents bar , rude staff . Overpriced . Rooms dated, food poor. Asked for a drink and was told no residents bar not even offered room service . Paid €150 so completely overpriced for a rubbish hotel

Absolutely lived with this hotel I had the this pleasure of meeting the so called general manager who's name is Daniel. I was there with my mother who is 90th years old and on a simmer frame he very rudely refused to let me park near the door and made us walk the hole lent of the car park.

Myself and my wife booked one night stay here recently for the Longford Summer Festival 2023. We needed a room as my wife is the singer on one of the bands who played on the stage in the street. We booked In before the show started to get ready, room 408, very basic, a bed, Tv, bathroom and some tea and coffee. At first glance the room seemed clean so we got ready and went on stage. When the night was over we came back to the room to go to bed. My wife pulled back the blankets to reveal a dirty sheet so she rang reception and asked for a clean sheet and the guy said certainly he would bring one immediately. However while taking the sheet from the bed we were faced with the filthiest mattress we have ever seen. Several huge brown and discoloured stains that were in no way Tea., Coffee or even water stains, it was horrible. The man came in with the sheet and I asked him to come in and look at the mattress. I asked him “would you sleep in that” as I pointed to the bed. His face was horrified and he immediately transferred us across the street to the Longford Arms Hotel. He gave us a similar room but at least this time the bed was clean. So that was all ok and done and we got into bed to sleep. And then some fool in the room right above us decided to play his guitar singing the fields of Athenry until 6am

You need to check beer prices before you order and don’t listen to BS From the manager. Peroni wasn’t that good and the Chardonnay tasted like white wine get a grip and stop ripping people off your not anything special your a village pub.Food and beer very expensive for village pub. Wont be back looking for a different pub for the rest of our holiday. Pub very nice and staff pleasant.

I was a bit apprehensive before I booked this hotel as some of the online reviews weren't great. Don't mind them! I stayed there recently with my family. We got two lovely joint rooms. They were lovely, modern and spacious enough. Maybe the bathrooms need a little upgrade but they were clean. The staff was so nice and helpful. The pool was clean and warm. They definitely didn't make cuts on the heating. Lovely food and the drinks were a lot cheaper then in Dublin. I'd highly recommend this hotel!
