Hotel is getting older but still in decent condition. Unfortunately some rooms aren't always cleaner, which could easily be fixed with some quality control.

The room is very small, the facilities are poorly maintained, there are hairs on the sheets, and the cleaning is not very clean. It is really not worth the price. I strongly do not recommend staying in this Marriott hotel.

Originally booked for one night but unfortunately got very ill and had to extend for one week. The staff were super nice and very helpful during this tough time for us. We were upgraded based on our Marriott status, breakfast very good. Only downside was a lot of tourists that were setting off at 6.00 am and very noisy.

Fairfield by Marriott in southwest Longmont, CO, is a 4-story building surrounded by commercial parking lots and has a distant view of the Divide, including Longs Peak. Our king guest room was functional. There was just a small wardrobe and small dresser. The walk-in shower was well-designed although a soap container had become detached from the wall. There was no bathtub. In the guest room there was only a single chair, so the second member of a couple had to sit on the bed (or on the toilet) or otherwise stand. The visible thermostat on the wall didn't work at all, so we called down and were told that the PTAC unit in the room was operational and would provide heat. There is a mini-fridge. Internet connection is free for BonVoy members. Check-out time is noon, which was convenient. The buffet breakfast area is large and the variety of things to eat and drink was good. An adjacent outside dining area was not set up. There was only a tiny receptacle for used paper plates and utensils. There is a small exercise room and a pool/jacuzzi room, but the pool is very small and was crowded with shouting children in the evening (though there is an hour of "adult time" from 9 to 10 pm and the pool was empty late morning). The hot tub was closed for maintenance. The location is near the Diagonal Highway that goes to Boulder. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but several restaurants are within a short walk, including a good, large Italian restaurant. Free parking lots surround the hotel. Staff were friendly. --

My husband and I have stayed at this property several times. I am a Marriott elite and find that they are most accommodating to elites (and most likely everyone else). We’re almost always upgraded. I know some hotels don’t find the time or make the effort to accommodate upgrades. Not here. The staff is wonderful, congenial, and gracious. The hotel is well maintained, up to date, and clean. The location is excellent for shopping and dining but not in the ‘old town/main street’ area. Longmont is a small city and an easy travel from Boulder - about 15 minutes. This is an excellent alternative to the very expensive accommodations in Boulder. David Sullivan and Kasey Nilsson, Manager and General Manager, and Kat (front desk) will be there to make your stay enjoyable.
Response from Property: Jacquelyn, Thank you so much for your feedback on your recent stay with us! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with us and had such a great experience with our staff and our hotel. Our location is prime when it comes to shopping and restaurants and being just off the beaten path to Boulder. We always love welcoming back our guests and we look forward to welcoming you and your family back the next time your travels bring you back through the Longmont area!

Tiny room!!! Yeesh! Also, it was obvious housekeeping hasn’t paid close attention to vacuuming and mopping. Edges of the floors had crumbs and dust. Crumbs in one of the drawers. Curtain wouldn’t close all the way as it was semi detached from the rod. Positive: breakfast was good and housekeeping kept it in tidy condition.
Response from Property: Thank you so much for your feedback on your stay. I apologize about the issues that you had with cleanliness. I will speak with my housekeeping leadership to ensure that this is an isolated incident. Thank you again for your review and we hope to see you again the next time your travels bring you back into the Longmont area!

We arrived after midnight and left by 8 am so we weren’t there long but the room was in good condition and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast had a better than usual spread and we were very happy. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful location. Located close to an upscale shopping and dining area. I had a problem with my bill and the manager took care of it immediately and was very helpful. Great rooms and view of the mountains. Clean dining area for breakfast and a great place to stay. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at four hotels while in Colorado during the same week and my kids made a game out of evaluating each on various aspects. The best parts of this one were that the location is easy to get to, the beds are comfortable, it has both a pool and a hot tub, and the included breakfast has several options. The negative aspects are that the indoor pool was FREEZING (we couldn't stand getting it (but spent a lot of time swimming at the pools at all of the other hotels), they ignored our room requests (we asked for a quiet area and were given a room by the elevator), and the first room they gave us was missing the mini fridge and had a large crack in the bathtub. Overall, the hotel was fine, but not great. It was considerably less expensive than other options, so if you're trying to stict to a budget, I think this is a good option for the price. Tip: odd numbered rooms have a view of the mountains!
Response from Property: Thank you so much for your feedback on your stay. We have looked into these issue and have since corrected them. I apologize that this was your experience with us, but we can ensure you that it was an isolated incident and all these items have been addressed. Thank you again and we hope to see you again the next time your travels bring you back into the Longmont area! w

This is a pretty typical Fairfield. Nicely decorated, super quiet rooms. Breakfast what you would expect, adequate but nothing special. What made this stay for me was David at the front desk. He is the epitome of what every hotel employee should embody: friendly yet professional, attentive to detail. He even greeted me by name at breakfast the next morning! That is definitely not typical of a chain hotel! We will stay again when we are back in the area.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel in Longmont. Our 2 queen suite was incredibly spacious, with a separate seating area and 2 TVs. The room also had a microwave and a refrigerator. The seating area was brightly lit, but the area across from the beds could have used more lighting. The included breakfast was good. Conspicuously missing was a waffle machine that I usually expect, though there were pre-made waffles on Saturday morning. The breakfast area was bright and comfortable, and there was an area to sit outside too. Parking is ample around the hotel and there are plenty of retail and dining options a very quick drive away.

First, it appears that Fairfield Inn is now rebranded as just "Fairfield." No big deal but this one appears to have been completely updated and not quite as basic as the Fairfield Inns that I remember in the past. It's a given that Marriott properties are going to be clean and comfortable and this one did not disappoint. It was spotless. Breakfast was pretty basic but that's fine with me. Location is great, surrounded by restaurants, local and chain, and grocery stores. But best of all is the staff! Wonderful people who are personable and pleasant without the phony cloying that is so often encountered. Thanks Fairfield in Longmont!
