We took special bus from Yangshuo straight to Dazhai, then the owner had someone fetch us from DaZhai parking lot and drove a few minutes to the parking lot nearest their hotel. How did we book and organize this? We simply contacted the hotel via WeChat and they helped arrange everything for us. 15min hike, and we are in the hotel. No elevator, but there was a cable car that carried our stuff up to the mountain. The room was fantastic, the location was superb, the food was good. Even if you do not leave the hotel and just stayed inside the room, you'll have a fantastic time. Water is from spring so it's fresh and potable. You can wash your clothes for free but depending on the season, it may take a long time to dry. They don't have dryer and we could only hang our clothes. View from the room is good, and going up to the viewing platform only takes around 6 minutes.

The couple who owns the hotel is really nice. They picked me up from the bus station and offered sweet watermelon and plums when I arrived. The room is fine, just enough for one night. It has a beautiful view over the terraces and it’s just a 5 minute walk to one of the viewing platforms.

I stayed for two nights and felt very comfortable and cozy, as if I was staying at a distant relative's house. The boss and his wife were warm and thoughtful, and answered all my questions. The location of the B&B is very close to the No. 2 Observation Deck, almost like living next to the observation deck 😂 You can watch the sunrise directly from the balcony of the room. We went to the observation deck on purpose the next day to see it once. Except that the terraced fields can be seen from the observation deck, there is not much difference. However, being close to the observation deck means that you have to climb a mountain road to get to the B&B, which is about ten minutes or less. It is a bit tiring for a rookie like me, but one or two trips are acceptable. The scenery along the way is also good. As soon as I entered the B&B, the boss's wife enthusiastically served watermelon and tea. It is worth mentioning that the luggage is hoisted up in a hanging basket, which greatly reduces the burden of carrying. The room is clean and spacious, which is not much to say. What surprised me most is the cooking skills of the B&B, which is better than the B&Bs in the mountain valleys I have visited before. The rice wine is sweet and refreshing, which makes people want to stop. I recommend leek egg pancakes, mountain bamboo shoots bacon, and bamboo tube chicken (half a few people are enough), which is very fragrant. There is even freshly ground coffee for breakfast☕️

In summary, the weather was bad when we came and the stairs up the mountain were a bit difficult to walk. The boss lady and her family are very welcoming, free fruit, free rice wine, really delicious. Helped to book tickets, and sent them to the foot of the mountain, the service is great! The scenery of the terraced fields is so beautiful, it's worth the trip!

The room is very clean. Environment: quiet and undisturbed. It is very close to the Thousand-Layer Ladder Viewing Platform, and it takes only seven or eight minutes to walk there. The boss was enthusiastic, upgraded our room, introduced the local customs, and was very talkative.

I strongly recommend that you book a room with a balcony view, especially when you live with several people. It is cost-effective. The house is halfway up the mountain, and you can see the beautiful terraced field view. There is a restaurant on the first floor where you can order food. It is much better than the restaurant below the village. They also give you rice wine. My mother-in-law makes rice wine, and she praised the rice wine as being very good. I have never tasted this kind of rice wine elsewhere. Especially the fried little carp is very delicious. I still remember it until now. I went to Yangshuo to eat that kind of fish several times later, but it was not as delicious as the boss's. The luggage can be lifted up by cable car. The boss is very nice. It was originally for two people, but our family of four prepared breakfast for four people. Guilin rice noodles are delicious. In the morning, I was rushing to take the bus, and the boss drove us to take the bus. I really like this trip to Longji. Everyone I met is very nice! I will recommend friends to stay in this homestay in the future!

This hotel is amazing. You can enjoy the view while lying on the bed! The boss and his wife are very welcoming! We ate vegetables grown by themselves, took us to plant them in the fields, and even caught chickens in the mountains! Really worth recommending...
