This is a great place in every way. It is conveniently located at the very beginning of Tiantouzhai village. And from this point it is convenient to explore all the observation platforms available in the area. We spent 4 days and 4 nights here. On the first day we went to the nearest observation platforms, there are three of them and it took about 15 minutes to get to the first one. In just two hours we walked around them all and stopped to eat in a cafe (there is also a hotel), which is located near the very beginning of the descent to the village of Dazhai, from it It's about 25 minutes to our hotel. On the second day there was heavy rain and we had a great time at the hotel. Because there is billiards, massage chairs, a cozy room with a large TV and a swimming pool, a beautiful spacious hall, beautiful flowers that please the eye. Washer and dryer. Food for lunch and dinner can be ordered from the owner, the food is delicious. In the evening we walked along the narrow streets and stairs of the village of Tyantouzhay - a very beautiful authentic place, it was interesting, we took a lot of photos. On the third day we went to the Golden Buddha Peak on foot through the forest along a narrow overgrown path (watch out for snakes!), returned through Dazhai - it took longer, but the path was much better. This walk took 5 hours. You definitely need to take water. From our hotel to the exit to the trail to Buddha Peak, an hour's journey along forest paths. The ascent takes another 30-40 minutes along steep steps, then 3 observation platforms - the peak of the Golden Buddha, which can also be climbed by cable car from Dazhai from the bus stop, the price is 100 per person round trip. The second one next to it is a Phoenix looking down and a little further away an Eagle spreading its wings. From here there are very beautiful views of all the terraces, the height is greater than the platforms opposite, which we looked at on the first day. All the trails are very good. After descending to Dazhai along the path going to the left of the cable car, when looking down from the site, we spent about 40 minutes searching for a road in Dazhai itself in order to get onto the path going up to Tiantouzhai, since there was construction there and everything was littered building materials essentially had to go right through them. We were helped by a nice girl from a nearby hotel who spoke some English. There are many beautiful hotels in Dazhai, but it is located at the very foot of the terraces. On the fourth day, we left the hotel and followed the road to the right, a sharp turn in front of the store and then the road steeply upward, straight along the closed turn. There are observation platforms there, one of which is called Music of Paradise. The road is steep, and vehicles often travel along it, you need to be careful, but these are very beautiful observation platforms, you should definitely go to them. Thus, I believe that the location of this hotel is optimal for visiting all the viewpoints in this rice terraces area. The hosts are very friendly and caring. For breakfast, Guilin rice noodles, eggs, steamed buns and soy milk. Since we don't drink soy milk, we were kindly given cow's milk. The children were very happy. The owner also makes coffee. We were also treated to homemade rice wine (we would call this rice kvass, since the degree there is minimal and it is sweet, very similar to our kvass), watermelon and tea. Then the owner helped us find a taxi to Guilin airport for 5 people. Overall, we had a wonderful time at this hotel. The children swam in the pool. In the evenings we listened to the live sounds of the terraces. This is a very beautiful, stylish, cozy place. You should definitely spend a few nights here. It’s very comfortable to be on the slopes, not hot (especially after Beijing). The room has air conditioning. You have to wait a bit for the hot water to come out, but it is there and the pressure is good. There is a TV. Everything is wonderful. This is a wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend!
